Nice and solid
This product is awesome. I bought it as a part of my man cave renovation 4 months ago and I could not be happier with it. Nice and solid construction. It is held together with two long bongs that extend from top to bottom and thread through each if the pieces. Once it is all tight, it just hangs in the wall plate and its good to go. The back is perfect for cable management and I have lots of cables going through it (9 to be exact) including power and HDMI cables. The shelves are really solid and a nice size too. My Xbox Slim fits on it perfectly for an idea of the size. If you have an oversized cable box or something like that, you may have an issue. Installation took all of 15 minutes including the drilling. This is exactly what I needed to help clean everything up and it goes perfectly with my $25 Cheetah tv mount. I definitely recommend this product and should the need arise, I would buy another one without question.

Very easy to setup and looks great!
This product was very easy to setup and install. Also, it looks wonderful with a television mounted above it. We actually installed it just above the bottom line of our tv so it is quite seamless. The shelves are sturdy and I don't see any type of give on them at all. Don't freak out when you get the packing as the picture on Amazon shows black shelves and a plastic ridge. The package has two sides with one showing a silver ridge and black shelves and the other showing the same as the picture online. You will get the black version. The only gripe I have is that it won't fit a power cable for my PS3 behind the ridge, but I'll figure out a way to hide that somehow. For HDMI cables and other smaller plugs it should work well, otherwise you'll want to find another solution to hide cables. Overall, a very great modern design.

THESE ARE DVD/RECEIVER SHELVES - nothing to do with any TV size or mounting
THE GOOD: This is a mount with two huge shelves for DVD players, cable boxes etc. The title when I bought it made reference to 17-60 inch TV which is just plain wrong. This has nothing to do with mounting any TV, it is just two component shelves that looks just like the picture. This has to have the largest shelves I have ever seen and EXACTLY what I needed as my large Verizon cable box fit on it perfectly. I am sure if they corrected the title they would sell many more of these. Please see other reviews on this. THE BAD: The long metal wall plate shown in the instructions is replaced by a short metal plate maybe 1/3 the length with no explanation or note to that effect. So when you start looking at the instructions and parts you wonder where the bracket is and think it is missing. There is no new instruction for the small plate. The big plate had 7 holes, with 3 down the center. So if you wanted to mount this into a 2x4 stud you would use the center 3 holes. The short plate has 3 holes across the top and three across the bottom. So you can only use the center two to screw into the 2x4 as the outside ones would miss the ends of the stud. The screws are big so it should be OK and they are large and long. It appears two would be good enough, maybe. The outside ones would be likely right near the end of the stud so an anchor would hit the end and really not expand as expected. If you are not going into a stud you would use the outside 4 holes. But they are now closer together with all the weight on a smaller section of the wall. When you are finished putting this whole thing together you will be surprised to learn the entire thing is held onto the bracket with two tiny connection screws facing down into a small top aluminum cover that rests on top of the tangs of the bracket that the screws go into. The bracket is strong so I do not feel it could bend or break. So considering the fact these two tiny screws and tangs hold this whole thing up, using two big screws to attach it to a stud now seems reasonable! The little screws are not to hold it up, but keep it against and on top of the bracket. The company who essentially is a wholesaler/drop-shipper has no number to call, though you can send a message to them, if you found them online as there is nothing in the instructions on contacting them. (google mount-it). Overall, I guess it is OK, but I would have been very happy with the original long bracket with three screws down the center. I took off 1 star for the smaller bracket and no mention it, some genus saved a little but weakened the installation somewhat. I found no other comparable product with as big shelves. Before you put it together (which is a juggling act) look at all the pieces very carefully and note how the four plastic gaskets fit into the back column sections and how these touch the pieces of glass and that there is a metal piece at on on top and on the bottom. Do some trial fittings. The instructions are not that great I REALLY suggest you do this with another person to help hold the numerous pieces together with you and do it on the floor not on a table as it possible for it to all fall apart as you are making it. Power cords may not fit in the column, but ones with thin ends do. My TV one won't, my set-top cable box does. Still it is a good product. It is staying on my wall and seems solid with little chance the two little screws would get loose as the weight of everything presses against them and they are facing down.

I like this shelf mount,
I really do, the price is just great, but the quality you get is even better. I have two, one in my bedroom and the other in the living room, and I use them for a DVD player in the bottom shelf, and a simple 2.1 home theater heavy sub-woffer in the top shelf. Fit and finish are flawless, assembling very easy if you are handy, and running cables through it a snap (however, to avoid frustration I cut off the protruding edges of the AC plug so it goes easier, no big deal) (this can be avoided by running this wire first). Beautiful, expensive looking design, it beats down most other more expensive shelfs. Just make sure you drill right in the center of the stud and your life will be good.

Good product.
Assembly required but what doesn't these days? Get someone to help hold it together while you tighten the rods and it goes pretty well. Better than I expected actually. It is heavy, so again get someone to help hang it on the wall. After the pre-assembly there are two parts. The wall plate and the curved part with the shelves. Screw the small wall plate to a stud. Simple. Lift the heavy shelving unit onto the plate. There are two screws at the top that secure it. Done. There seemed to be some concern in the reviews about the space in the back for wire. I thought it was plenty but it does get a little tight with the power plugs and HDMI plugs. My solution was to run the wires and place the cable box and blu-ray player on the shelves and then lift it to the wall. I had my wife help me but it was only about 30 lbs. so it went really well. No arguing! Thought about giving it 4 stars because of the assembly but it wasn't that bad and now that it is up I love it. Nice and clean look with my new TV mount. Looks great so 5 stars on this.

Very well built and looks great
I ordered 3 of these, Upon receiving them I was blown away on how much they weighed..very,very solid unit. Mounted them myself, each taking about 1/2 hour including assembly time. Assembly is very straightforward, tho due to the weight, may be cumbersome for one person. Love how they look. Easily holds my heavy Onkyo receiver and Cox cable box. The color and finish compliments the piano black finish on my flat screen. While browsing thru Best Buy today, I saw an almost identical unit from "Sanus" selling for $150. !!! matching the price I paid for 3 Mount-It! MI802s. Highly recommend this well built, great priced unit

Besides needing 4 hands to build it, it's an awesome value
I bought this for our house as I had run wires from beside the fireplace to above the fireplace and I didn't have enough devices to merit a media cabinet. The 2 shelves easily fit my bluray on one shelf, and my kid's wii and wii remote charger and goodies on the other. The "instructions" are 4 pictures, which are easy enough to puzzle out. I had to hold the shelves while my wife put the rods though the different pieces and screwed it together. Seems sturdy enough and looks sharp. It's all metal and glass aside from some isolation pieces for the glass-to-metal transitions. For the cost, it's fantastic.

Not much room
I just installed this shelf. It's built well and very sturdy. However, if you have a lot of wires/cables there's not much room. While there's room behind the shelves there's not much room to fit a lot of cables through the small opening where the unit fastens to the wall mount portion. I had to mount it on a 1/2 board to make room for the wires I had to hide behind it. I had a DVR, receiver and DVD player and had a very hard time hiding wires. If your device's AC cord is hard wired you actually have to put in on the shelf, run wire behind and THEN screw it to wall mount. All while holding the unit and device. They need to make more room for wires and it would be 5 star.

Excellent price and quality
I'd been looking for just a shelving unit like this for my tv equipment. I received it just a couple days after ordering it and was immediately pleased with what I saw. The glass shelves were beautiful and the wall mount was perfect. It was easy to assemble and install. Just the right size for my sound plate as well. The price was phenomenal, anywhere else it was at least twice the price if not more. The only challenge was fitting all the wiring through the back. I would have found it better if the space hiding the wiring was a bit larger as I had a number of wires to feed through. I would definitely recommend this to anyone

BEAUTIFUL PRODUCT!
Im amazed! Amazon free shipping estimated a 7 days Delivery but I actually recieved it after 48 hours! Very happy delivery was FAST and safely got to my home! Pros: very easy to setup. took me less than 2 min & lots of space for cables. The size of shelf is prefect as I was most worried it wasnt but now I see is just what my living space needs. Wish I could of uploaded a picture but didnt had time and busy with Moving, Will possibly upload one in future. ... Very happy to have this addition to my new home and now there even more free space on the floor :) The product also looks like it can hold a lot up Im sure it could handle 70 Pounds but I wouldn't try it. CON: Shelves can be easily Scratched From under the shelf and seen through the top but using some sort of BLACK TAPE works okay to hide scratches.

Big enough to accommodate equipment and wires
Good shelving unit - nice large shelves to take equipment and wires behind - I wish it had adjustable shelves instead of fixed - it would make the unit more useful. However, pretty good overall

Decent Quality Product
Product arrived very quickly and was in good condition. It is of decent quality and the only problem I have with it is the space left behind for cables was not quite sufficient for the cables I was using.
