Love it
I couldn't figure out if I had a bad generator or regulator so I picked this up. The swap was easy, the fit was great, and it works like a dream! I used permatex.

Make sure the idiot light is wired!
You have to make sure you wire the idiot light. that's what turns on the electromagnets in the alternator. If you don't wire it, it'll never charge. I learned this the hard way.

Decent build
The stand installed perfectly. I recommend that you use a dremel tool and wire brush attachment to clean off the coating on the inside of the filler tube threads BEFORE you install it. The threads have a rough textured anodization or coating making it impossible to thread in the original oil filler parts. I also recommend that you use a bartender's bar-key bottle opener for the oil filler's nut as it will fit the notches perfectly and the available $12-20 dedicated tool is only good for one thing. I bent the crap out of the bar-key I used, but for $12-20, you can buy a box of them and use them for something useful other than attaching an oil filler neck. To get leverage, I stuck a tool through the opening on one end and stuck the tongue into the slot-grooves of the nut. I had originally borrowed an inner pipe wrench from a buddy to remove the filler part in the first place and the bar-key was much easier because it didn't slip.

Defective product
This alternator never worked it's defective and not charging my battery it took a while to figure it out I was saying it's a new alternator and there is no way that it could not be working but after having it checked by two different mechanics they showed me on a meter where is not charging it cost too much to take it out and send for another one its still in my car it's a dune buggy which I don't drive often especially over the winter months, I just charge my battery on a house charger and run only in the day... It's really a hassle when a product you paid for don't work especially when I have to pay to have it installed but I understand stuff like this do happen I just wish it didn't happen to me...
