Nooky Lavender Massage Oil with Sweet Almond Oil. for Massaging 16oz

So besides the wonderful massage benefits we get from this oil, I happened to come about some other great benefits that I wasn't expecting. I find this to be an excellent makeup remover. I have extra extra, did I mention extra? Dry skin on my face and wipes or soaps just make it worse. I also have Lupus, and suffer Lupus rashes, this oil helps to calm these horrid rashes and hives/bumps. If I notice too much on I just dab a little off or wash with some luke warm water and pat dry. The next thing is for my beloved border collies' nose. It was so dry and cracked. I have tried every miracle balm out there and even a homemade oil I use in my hair, but nothing helped him. As soon as I put it on his nose, it absorbed right in and his shiny black baby nose came right back. The smell was not over powering to him at all. This leads me to another benefit. My baby Jack suffers awful anxiety, especially now with his hip dysplasia, and he settled right down and went to sleep. The lavendar calmed and settled him to sleep like a baby. So we decided to test this again with our new rescue. She is a super hyper 10month mixed pitbull/lab and she's scared of her shadow but always on play 24/7. We put a dab on her nose and again she settled right down, played with her toys for a bit and when it was bedtime she followed. She's not scared anymore and can relax a lot quicker. Great, awesome oil! Works wonders for massages as well. I get awful knots from fibro and Lupus and this has never let me down. I am prone to mouth ulcers from having Lupus, but never have had one until 2 weeks ago. I had a root canal and the stress from life and the dentist must of set me off. I got a huge ulcer on my lip. Couldn't believe it! Nothing helped from dr.google and everything at CVS was 2-3times as expensive as Amazon. So I ordered a product. Just so happened I decided to take my makeup off using the oil and condition my lips with it, plus rub it into the ulcer. The next morning it was half as big. My item arrived the following day from Amazon, but I stuck with the oil. It healed completely in 3 days. I have no doubt it will work if you get a cold sore or other mouth irritation. Oh my husband sprained his ankle in Jan and he really enjoyed nightly massages with this. It also gave me the ability to have the stamina to hold up and give him the massage. I had this oil for a while and it sat around but I am so glad I am using it more. I rarely review items but this one had been a life changer for me. I was really embarrassed about the lip ulcer and it really changed this for me. Having a bunch of dr. Appts this weeks plus chemo and having to talk to people like that would of been a nightmare, so I am really glad to have purchased this with my own money and had it on hand awhile ago.

First bottle/package I purchased came with oil on it. The pump was broken as well and leaked all over the bottle when you pumped it. I just bought another one and used the new pump. Accidents happen though, doesn't detract from the company or this product. As a massage oil, it is better then a different massage oil I had tried from K-Y. It does not leave you feeling greasy (unless more product than necessary is used). Price point is very reasonable for the amount you get, I would say it's a bargain. Comes with screw cap and pump depending on how you want to use it/store it. Besides using as a massage oil, I have eczema and my heels are very cracked and painful. This made my heels visibly better and feel better after one use! Clears up and prevents eczema patches quickly as well! Also it has a gentle lavender smell, not overpowering. If this sounds like the product you are looking for, trust this random guy on the Internet saying it is.

My husband and I ended up putting this in a glass bottle to use, so I cannot speak on the durability of the plastic bottle, but the scent is incredible. The lavender is really calming. It also actually feels moisturizing. It makes massages, especially for backs or big surface area, really easy.

Love Nooky products and usually get the unscented. Went for Lavender and while the oil is great (smooth, not too thick, washes off easy), the scent is a little much. Its a good lavender aroma if you really like Lavender. I was hoping for a little more subtle scent. My preference and will still buy Nooky oils and lubes. Great products. I usually buy unscented and mix with oils to get my preferred mix.

Like other commenters have mentioned, the bottle leaks and is messy. You might as well plan on transferring it to another container upon arrival. The oil itself is great. Unlike lotions or even baby oil, it does not become sticky but remains slippery for a long time. The lavender scent is invigorating. It is tangy--almost as if there is also some eucalyptus in it.

I buy a lot of massage oil. This is great for my full body massage. The viscosity is perfect and will even generate heat through friction for sore and tired muscles. After my massage i climb into bed with no shower. The oil is not sticky or thick enough to discolor my sheets. In the morning i am refreshed and my skin feels silky smooth.

This is a great oil. I don't think I have noticed any stains, it doesn't dry up easily, isn't overly greasy, and smells nice. I have chronic back problems so I often need some kind of massage, and lotions/oils usually do the trick to keep my skin from getting too irritated. I'm not sure why its called "nooky" other than the fact that maybe people use it before they do the "no-pants-dance", because there is nothing especially erotic about it in any way. All in all, a great oil that won't leave you slippery for the rest of the day or night.

I was looking forward to this product which is supposed to contain fractionated coconut oil as a good alternative to almond oil which is prevalent in most products. However, the lavender version contains no coconut oil instead it uses sweet almond oil according to the bottle. This is in direct contradiction to the title of the product. According to the bottle the ingredients are Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Lavender Oil. This matters to anyone trying to avoid almond oil due to allergies. Since the product does not match the description and the fact that I cannot return it due to the nature of the product, I am giving this a one star review.
