I bought this along with a WiFi booster plug as I thought the WiFi card in my pc was working fine, just not picking up the signal that well from my router. Who'd have thought that as soon as I put this in my USB port and connected it to the Internet, that I'd get speeds that compare better than my mobile phone on the WiFi. Best few quid I've spent on something and would definitely recommend this to anyone having WiFi problems. The app that comes along with it is brilliant for fine tuning your gadget

The supplied drivers do not build, and alternative drivers on github also do not build with the default Ubuntu 22.04 kernel. Upgrading to Kernel 6.2.8-060208-generic made the device work with no further driver installs

Works well after installing updated Linux driver on Ubuntu 20.04.If you use Linux and are having problems getting this device to work, Google “0bda:c811” for possible solutions. The one I used from Ask Ubuntu is shown in the picture.

I found it hard to set up & get it to work. It did work on Windows 10 without installing drivers, although I could only get 2.4Ghz. Maybe their drivers might help but I struggled to get the disc they sent to auto read or do anything.Failed to get it to work on a Fedora Linux OS I wanted to use it on due to the same issue with the supplied disc and woeful instructions. It did just about see it but no way could I get it to connect or find any drivers. While the unzipped files didn't really help as then required load of terminal commands / building packages etc. So low star ratings for signal, tech support & ease of install.

Having trouble connecting as my laptop only has 2.5 ghz and the new WiFi is 5 solved my problem and easy to use

It’s not that bad for the money but def spend more if your high end gaming
