Works great.
Works like a charm. Easy to clean. Wish it was a little smaller base to fit inside our cabinet more easily but other than that, we like it a lot.

Good Food Processor
This is a great food processor for most jobs. I had an earlier model from years ago that I had to dispose of when I moved into a place that turned out to be roach infested. Before I could get the roaches under control, they had taken up residence in the motor and laid eggs. I cleaned it and aired it out and could never get rid of the roach smell. I had stopped using it and the next time I moved, I disposed of it. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy a new one.It shreds, chops, and slices beautifully. Like a few reviewers said, some food does get stuck in the corner by the chute. I do find that in this model the food chute seems higher up so the presser doesn't go close enough to the blade and I end up with a chunk of whatever I was processing spinning around or getting stuck in the corner by the chute. It's a minor thing to deal with, so I'm still very pleased. It's a great value for the price. One other thing I found odd is that the food chute in in the back of the food processor instead of the front. If you try to put the lid on so it's in the front, it won't engage the safety mechanism. I like the safety mechanism which prevents it from turning on until you engage the lid.The suction cups on the bottom are super strong and keep it steady.I shredded apples to put on top of a salad and they were delicious! That would make a good snack too with some raisins. It's shreds carrots perfectly. Zucchini came out good too! It's wonderful for folks who like to eat raw and makes the salads easier to eat without so much chewing. I used to chop up frozen banana's too to make "banana ice cream" when I had my old one.Bon Appetite!

Awesome Results! Awesome Price!
Im really excited about this. I wanted a food processor for years now but it was low on my priority list. As a low carber/Paleo lifestyler for the past year, I really cannot believe how much this thing has changed our eating.I used to look at boneless skinless chicken breast and immediately think *boring*!I threw chicken breast, garlic cloves, seasonings, and fresh mozerella cheese right into the processor and voila, chicken meatballs. I also did a version with a barbecue smoke seasoning and diced red onion. I am thinking of turkey meatballs with a homemade gravy also. The possibilities are endless really. Also, I know sometimes I take out a package of ground meat from the freezer, but when I go to make dinner the inside is still frozen sometimes.. and throwing it into the food processor completely broke up all the frozen middle and dinner was going really quickly.I definitely love that I can get my veggies and fiber in, while adding texture using homemade sauces. I added cubanelle and green peppers, tomato, garlic, onion, and fresh herbs to make a sauce that I served over ground beef. It was almost like a stew/soup but the flavor was so fresh! And its a great way to get my veggies in without living on salads.Speaking of salads the cucumber I sliced with the slicing attachments make the most perfect cucumber chips for dipping in a herbed cheese spread. I hope Im making you hungry just reading this. Also dont forget you can make your own whipped herbed cream cheeses or veggie cream cheese.Another treat I have enjoyed is cauliflower *riced* in the processor. I toss it uncooked into a pan with some pastured butter or beef tallow (or both). The uses for this are fantastic. I made homemade blackberry vanilla ice cream using frozen berries. Its free shipping and I use it constantly. I couldnt be happier. The price is so right and the quality is also great! I will use this as a gift item for my sisters over the next year of birthdays.

Ol' Choppy
I'm not going to lie, I was apprehensive about buying this food processor. I was wondering if I should bite the bullet and save for a more expensive one or if I should swallow my kitchen snob pride and buy this one. Obviously I chose the latter option. What I love about this processor is that it really does deliver. I have had more expensive ones (okay, one) and never really used it being it was clumsy and seemed to chop anything to the same consistency. Everything was either cut in half or turned into mush with it. This one truly does do a great job. I can make my famous (to me and about 1 other person on the planet) tomatillo salsa in under a minute and use this processor almost every single day for something (I eat clean but hate chopping and shredding my daily veggie or fruit rations) and it has yet to disappoint. There's only two things I would change. First off, I would LOVE a dough blade. My KitchenAid mixer just doesn't seem to do it for me anymore with it's dough hook. Also, this little baby is loud. I mean, your grandma's 1960's blender loud. I have to warn my 2 dogs, my brother with DS, and the baby that is currently in my stomach when I am turning this thing on. I might have to start sending a daily memo to the neighbors giving a time frame of when I will be using this thing. 12-4 pm, everyday, at least once. Okay, so it's not THAT loud but I do have to warn anyone in my household. I was kind of expecting that though by paying $25 vs buying one that was upwards of $100.I definitely plan on keeping Ol' Choppy here for a long time though. I have definitely gotten my money's worth with this little machine. I wouldn't recommend it to someone with a large family and it can be irritating to make sure my veggies are chopped a certain way before putting them in but overall a great little machine for the price. :)
