MagJo Naturals, St. John's Wort Herb (12 ounce) Cut & Sifted

I avoided a couple of other listings due to reviews of St Johns Wort that they were mostly sticks. This smelled great and looks like all leaves and flower. Very happy with the initial look and smell of this product. I'm starting my tincture today, so I will have to update in a month, but I'm very pleased with this purchase. This was a larger size bag than I was expecting. I think it will do at least two quart jars (each half full), so it will likely last a long time too.

It is definitely St. John's Wort, collected during the flowering stage, with a distinct taste and smell. Flower buds and individual petals can be seen in the mixture. It has a pleasant taste, especially if you enjoy using it as an additive to your regular cup of tea.However, the mixture is not pure St. John's Wort—you can easily notice the presence of other weeds, which is reflected in the final taste.

It looks like a great product, tons of flowers, not sticks. I purchased it to make a tea out of it and for hair rinse. The tea came out as a vibrant, cognac look like color. It has a slightly bitter taste, as how it is supposed to be. I will order more to make sure I got enough of it to keep it in my stash.

My favorite tea. The best way to make it: pour hot water into a thermos and putSt. John's Wort Herb tea into a tea bags for 10 min and after that remove the bag and enjoy your tea.
