THE WAITER WALLET MAKES MY HEART SING!! You need this!
I've had the regular medium sized Waiter Wallet for a few years now. At first it was a bit hard to get used to, being that it's so much shorter than the free check presenters I had used in the past. But once I figured out where all of my credit card slips and cash should go, it has been AMAZING! Everyone asks me about my book because it's so compact and has so many handy compartments. The material held up well, considering I handle a lot of cash and it is put under more strain than most would be, but once it cracked a bit, I covered the thing in black duct tape and have used it until now when the duct tape started crumbling and falling apart. I love this thing!! I can stay so organized. I've got a specific place for everything!! You need this Wallet. It is so compact and fits a perfectly in the pocket of my apron. I always buy small note pads that fit perfectly in here from the office supply section at Target. I just ordered the Deluxe Waiter Wallet, to upgrade my older waiter wallet. Amazon shipped the wrong one to me and was completely unapologetic about it. I contacted Waiter Wallet and instantly received a phone call from the president of the company who was very concerned about me receiving the wrong product. I don't think I have ever had such an amazing customer service expierence in my life. He was so kind and checked back with me to make sure I was taken care of. I ended up ordering straight from WaiterWallet.com because I didn't want Amazon to mess it up again. I'm so excited to get the deluxe version in the mail. I'll post an update on how I like the deluxe. I paid full price for both of my wallets, I didn't receive anything for my review. I just really love this product.

Worth every penny
In my restaurant, funny as it may be, we use fanny packs as opposed to aprons or just check presenters and pockets, so my initial thought was that with multiple pockets secured around my waist that I wouldn't need something as small and trivial as this "Waiter Wallet." Boy, was I wrong. My issue is organization. Even with, like I said, a fanny pack secured to my waist with multiple pockets, I couldn't keep all my stuff in order. My restaurant is very busy and when I'm in a hurry, everything gets thrown in my fanny pack somewhere. It's easy to think all your cash and receipts are safe with pockets, but when you're in the weeds and just shoving everything in there, you don't notice how easy it is for stuff to fall out. It has resulted to lost cash and receipts. Now of course this may be just be a personal issue, but the Waiter Wallet, though I haven't used it much yet, has noticeably helped me out. First off, the actual wallet part itself. It's very secure. When it's closed, nothing is falling out of that wallet. Even when I'm taking orders and the pad is open and the wallet exposed, it still doesn't open enough for anything to fall out accidentally, which was my biggest concern. There's also a divider with slots to hold cards. While I typically don't like stashing customers credit cards on me, I find it useful for other things (i.e., guests rewards program cards, coupons, and I personally like to put big bills like 100s and 50s in there, folded up, just in case of the cash ever falls out, at least it will be the smaller bills.) One thing I did notice though was that, with too many bills, the wallet is hard to fold. But, in that event, I noticed that if you push all the cash to one side of the wallet, it's just wide enough to hold it all on that side. Second, the clear pocket on the top half. It's perfect for writing down the specials, prices, and any general info that could be useful at your table. I work at a restaurant where they don't list prices on a lot stuff and it's hard to keep them all straight. The plastic is pretty decent quality yet still very easy to read through. Next, the order pad. While I do like the pad that Waiter Wallet provides, my restaurant provides order pads for us, so I will not be paying for more from Waiter Wallet. Has slots for seat number, drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. There's ample space in each slot if you're good at abbreviating and writing a little bit small. I also like that this thing is universal, you don't have to use the waiter wallet pads. There's a slot that you can stick the back of your order pad in to hold it. The pocket on the bottom half is a nice touch too. Perfect size for a tiny calculator, which comes in handy for those times when you have to make change for multiple checks and you just can't bother to do mental addition and subtraction. Lastly, the POS card holder on the back. Seems to be attached pretty well, don't think there's any chance of it ripping open. And my card glides right in and out with ease. Now I haven't had it for long at all, but the material, as sturdy and well put together as it is, does seem like it's not going to last a super long time. I can see myself needing to replace it within a couple years, not that it's the end of the world. Still an overall awesome product that I find to be worth every penny, especially if you've ever had issues with keeping everything organized and neat mid-rush.

EVERY SERVER'S DREAM COME TRUE!!!! MUST HAVE FOR ANY, EVERY, AND ALL SERVERS!!!!
I only recently realized what an asset this product is and always will be to my everyday life!! I ordered this product about six months and have used it every single day, recently I switched jobs to a restaurant that supplies basic server books to all the servers. I thought I would re-try the basic book just to go with conformity, that's when I realized just how much I depend on my waiter wallet and the reasons it is so essential and feel anyone trying to choose can benefit. To start with I am left-handed books are just made backwards to me so the flip top design is extraordinary. When re- trying a basic book I found that it was extremely awkward to hold my book open and write on the opposite side. Not to mention how EXPOSED I felt stading before a customer with a clear veiw to any cash, credit tips, a personal memo I had jotted down, I constantly felt like I was being judged. That is if I didn't open my book and everything fall out before I could speak. There are SO MANY options with my wallet I didn't think there was ever a way or reason to need or use them all, along with the flip top design it opens as advertised just like a wallet! Inside there is a divider that has 2 CC slots front and back (able to hold up to four) I use the divider to make four compartments, 1) cash 2)CC receipts 3) any discounts voids or otherwise modified checks and 4) my PERSONAL cash I had before my shift to make change or anything else. On the back of the wallet there is another slot for CC this is where my personal card for POS fuction is stored. With this function I don't have to dig in my pockets or book it run the risk of it just dropping out. At times I may be responsible for performing manager functions and have their card on my person, this is where the inside slots are handy being able to tuck the manager card safely away eliminates more stress than I can convey. No one can see it if I don't want them to so other servers don't ask for favors nor get upset I have that card and I'm 250% positive no one can access it leaving me with a mess. The clear pocket on the top plus I purchased an insert is so valuable I never realized how many times I referenced the information until I had to pick up a menu to check a side items and relay information I'm expected to know. With my inserts they are so easy and convenient to change or add to I make a note of specials to inform customers of or items I have difficulty remembering ANYTHING. You can write a date reminder and still appear efficient and knowledgeable. After half a shift with a basic book I left to get my wallet and will NOT make the mistake of leaving it again! The only frustrations I've had are that a) the material is not the best quality just basic vinyl u find on most but there is waiter wallet deluxe that I will be ordering soon that is more durable a d re-enforced, (there is no real damage to my current wallet just basic wear and tear I would have gotten the deluxe to start but I didn't know the difference. b) 4*6 note pads don't seem to be as readily available as made to seem and I feel WW pads are a bit costly but it's possible to find 4*6 pads a decent rates. Anyone debating to purchase this product i recommend to add a couple bucks for the deluxe, or undecided to purchase at all this product pays for itself within a couple months after not losing cash or getting decreased tips bcz u look like an unorganized slob and overall confidence!!!!!

Great wallet!!
I like this wallet because it helps me keep keep very organized. I'm a waitress and have to know a lot of codes for where I serve at and and the plastic lining works great as a protection for my paper. Also, the pad of paper is wonderful! I like how its laid out with its table number, appetizer, course, and dessert column! I definitely want to order more of these pad of papers. The inside pockets are just like your traditional wallet. I has four card holders and two slits to separate your cash or receipts. On the back side it has a card holder for those who clock in with a time card. The only cons I have about this wallet is that they should consider making it into different material something stronger because my pen holder ripped the first night of using it. Also, if you start to carry a lot of cash or receipt papers with you it does become difficult to bend. Other than that I do really like this wallet! I will order another one when mine gets ruined!

Just A Server, Helping Servers
Okay All -- As someone who is in the service Industry for 8+ years now, I have used just about everything on the Market and always seemed to end up at a check presenter. I have spent time in Fine Dining, High-volume; Fast-Paced Restaurants, and bars. As many of you have found your way here trying to find something that will allow you to do your job and stay organized. First, I will say that you really should look at each and every option they offer and pay attention to the other reviews and opinions of this product, as this is my personal experience. I was NOT paid, or compensated for this review -- so take this however you'd like. Waiter Wallet has taken the time to create multiple sizes -- With each size varying slightly in it's final product form. This is why I recommend you take a look at all and see which is best for you. COST -- yes, this does cost a little bit of money. However, if you think about this, you will be using this product for every day of your JOB. Investing a little into the work you do, seems only reasonable if you want to do the job right! This product will cost you less than 1 singular dollar a day after you get your use out of it. *realistically, if you take care of your stuff, it would be more around .10 cents or less a day. That's a Full year of use for the non-math people* Tell me, can you not invest less than .10 cents a day to do your job better and make MORE! FUNCTIONALITY -- yes, I will agree with a few of the others, this product does lend for some crumbs to end up getting into cracks and crevices. Let's be honest though, is there going to be anything you use that won't end up having some crumbs fall into cracks here or there? The Waiter Wallet will help you be more organized, but let's be more specific -- because none of us can fix the fact that 5 tables make you panic and you start entering things wrong, run food late, or just forget in general. That's not the product, unfortunately I hate to be the one telling you, but maybe serving isn't for you.... Don't fee bad, it's harder than it looks. Back to the organized talk though. I have utilized their templates with our menus -- it has allowed me to suggest house, mid, and top tier wines that will fit flavor profiles, it has allowed me to suggest substitution liquors more quickly, it has allowed me to add specials smoothly, and many other functions you should build for your self. ^^^ Trust me, if you want more money for your service you need to become quick, knowledgeable, and confident behind suggestions. So much to the point it should seem like just a conversation, better yet a story of flavor matches made in heaven. This is where your money will come from. I give this product 4 stars, because in this world, sometimes we are a bit too picky and I am no different. Yes, I do agree it could be made with some better stitching. I personally just reinforced with some nice black tape from day one, you can barely notice the taping, as I took my time. For you High-Volume people --- I would recommend keeping your receipts in here, but once you start getting into a lot of cash as the night goes on, you might find it a bit full to be closing and fitting everything together. I highly recommend carrying a cash wallet on you to make change from and allow for your Waiter Wallet to stay the organizational tool you need it to be and let your cash stay safely attached to you, always. For the Waiter Wallet Company --- Let's be honest guys, your pads are where you make your real money --- based on you thinking it is worth 20 bucks for a pad of paper. Any piece of paper with an excel grid is no rocket science or mystery formula. Any person can create that pad template for much less! Do us all a favor, lower your astronomical pricing on the pads so we don't have to sign over our first born for some convenience. OVERALL -- this thing will make your service life much happier, your guests much happier, and your wallet much happier. Stay organized my friends --- your friendly service member!

Want better organization? Tips? Get this.
UPDATE: the pocket holding the notepad has torn more, and the main bridge connecting the two pieces has started to visibly weaken. At this rate, the WWSR will last a maybe a few months, maybe a year with me being cautious. But I work 6 to 7 days a week and many double-shifts. (The Millennial American dream...). I'm going to see what I can do about extending its lifespan, or else it'll cost $20 (bi)annually to replace--totally worth it IMO. I work at a fancy-ish oyster bar with lots of required knowledge and at times a very high-intensity service environment. The WW Sr. has made me better tips already after only a few weeks. Image is everything, and this thing brings more to customers's perception than is apparent prima facie. Think about it. A server seems more professional and prepared when staring diligently into this tool. She's more organized and can better (up)sell the perfect dish to her hungry tables. A better tool can mean a better server. And better service rationally means better payout. - It has a KEY CARD SLOT! Never lose your key card. I use a retractable lanyard, but I know others who use single key rings, which fit in this slot. - The Wallet part is AWESOME. Store a pack of gum, a huge money bank, and anything you could need. Receipts are always flat and un-crinkled. - The THICK BRIDGE in the middle is great to allow for stuffing this thing, - The cardboard, or whatever is inside, is very sturdy. In presenters the flimsy cardboard frays once exposed under the plastic. - Be more EFFICIENT and ACCURATE with orders. I use the transparent part as a cheat-sheet for drink/alcohol ingredients, menu changes, etc. I've haven't gotten anything wrong that I used my WW cheat-sheet for, though customers may have. ;) - Like a real wallet, when full of cash it gets hard to fold. (Consider putting bills in the top half fold (foremost side opposite the notepad.) - There are 2 layers of pockets to hold the cardboard backing to flip-style notepads. Below/foremost is another pocket for tucking pages of that same flip-style notepad to stabilize it from falling out. I've used the rearmost/upper pocket to flip&tuck used pages back behind the notepad's cardboard. I sometimes move with such vitality that the pocket has started to tear a bit. I never used check presenters before to organize, because they only "got in the way". But this TOOL, I invite it's bulky figure in my life for as long as I'll serve customers. It's like an apron protector (instead of pocket protector) that turns littered pockets from grab-bags into shelves, which can be equally as messy TBH. The WW can get cluttered, too, like any apron, car, or purse/backpack. Disclaimer: I was neither paid nor invited to write this review, but I have been getting paid, so I've written this review to explain how/why I think the WW has helped me. :) I might add pictures later, but you really don't need them. If you aspire to be a better server then you need this or something similar.

Waiter Wallet is a lifesaver. The Deluxe model is not worth the price.
I’ve been using these things as my book for years. They’re amazing. My first one, the style one step down, held on for almost six years. Decided it was time to retire it and upgrade. It looks nice, and the leather seems like a nice touch, but the lining of the wallet started coming undone within days of use. The plastic for the top-view window was never sealed into the wallet, so it moves. The spine is weak, so I find it flopping open and looking less-than-graceful as I take orders. Not a fan. It’s functionable, albeit frustrating. Maybe I’ll buck up and order another one of my original (since it’s been a while since I ordered this one). Maybe not. Definitely won’t be ordering the “deluxe” style again.

Perfect for Every Server
Pretty awesome server tool. Looks really professional at the table! I made my own "cheat sheet" with photoshop that has beers, alcohol & wine we offer and put in the clear holder at the top of the book. We have a very wide selection, and I am able to peek at the list just in case I don't remember certain ones without the embarrassment of getting a menu out and pointing. The cash/card part of the book is AWESOME! It keeps me very organized and it holds everything securely. I've had a few times when a guests hands me their card ahead of time so they don't have to do it at the table in front of their guests. Using the card slots gives me peace of mind that their card isn't going anywhere during my crazy rush hours. Mine lasted about 2 years of full time serving.. I now only serve one or two nights a week but I will be purchasing again.

Was given a used book, and the notepad was not included
I was extremely excited for my waiter wallet because of all the amazing reviews (and the book itself is still good) but I believe I was sent a return. The description doesn’t state anything about there being any stickers on it and the notepad also wasn’t included as well… will be returning and repurchasing, and hopefully will receive the correct order.
