RAYOVAC 6-volt Battery Adapter with Batteries, 6VADPT-BA

Been looking for one of these for a long time. Great product.

Nice to be able to use more readily available D size batteries.

I bought this to have it on hand if the battery in our 6 volt lantern goes out, We now have the option to use 4 D batteries to get the lantern working again if we have a power outage etc.

Great product. Does what it's supposed to do. In long run will be a lot cheaper than 6V batteries.

Now all those great long lasting spotlights have batteries.

Because lantern-type batteries are getting harder to find, I replaced the lantern battery in my flashlight with this - it allows me to run the flashlight on D-cell batteries, which are available everywhere. As a bonus, the adapter came with D-cells included!My one recommendation to users is to remove and discard the yellow Rayovac paper covering on this product before installing: Since the packaging makes the adapter look exactly like a lantern battery, the user may forget that these are D-cells inside an adapter, and end up accidentally discarding the whole thing once the D-cells have gone dead (rather than replacing the dead cells inside the adapter) !

only way to go. forget the 6V lantern batteries. you can buy "D"s anywhere on your way to the campground.

The product is 5 star but I gave it 4 because the included batteries were dead on arrival.

Well worth the wait for it to come back in stock! Now I can use rechargeable D cells with my lantern. Lighter and less expensive than disposable lantern batteries.

You can use 4D batteries instead of those 6v batteries. Great as they are cheaper to buy.

Finally an adapter to get rid of those expensive hard to find 6 volt bricks.
