Its interesting. I had been buying a "leading brand" cough suppressant for a while and due to cost I decided to try these. There seems to be no difference.I use this typically in the evening before going to bed. It does seem to relieve my coughing for a while. The taste is OK, no weird after taste. The cherry taste (I think it's cherry) is fine and not too overpowering. Like any of these syrups it has a strong medicine like taste, but it goes away quickly. I have been taking half of what they recommend and I find no difference, and it lasts longer.Just on the basis of cost this is a good deal. Definitely recommend this if you are using a name brand product as they are the same, and this one saves you a bit.

Works well for cold symptoms and sore throats. It's a good price compared to other brands and FSA eligible which makes it more compelling to buy. The flavor is tolerable and not bitter like similar brands.
