Nice sturdy digging tool. Easy to use, the point helps push the digging tool in the ground. The serrated edge helps cut the sod as you make a round plug to pull out. it is a good length. It is not too heavy, and the sheath belt holder keeps the tool secure while walking. Works great for metal detecting or gardening.

I haven't used it yet, but from what I can see and feel, this digger is built like a tank. I wish the handle wasn't black but a brite color like yellow or orange, so it would be easier to find if misplaced.The sheath appears to be well-made as well. There is a rivet at all three stress points, and it appears to be made from ballistic nylon.Overall, this is a good digger for the price.

My son and I enjoy metal detecting and we both have used this to dig finds. He is 9 years old and hard on my tools. We have been using it for a few months now and dug a lot of holes with it mostly in rocky ground. It feels very well built and so far has held up well. The handle is grippy and the blade is pretty thick stock. The finish has worn off most of the blade but I keep it clean and oiled to avoid rust. The serrations on the sides make it easy to cut out a plug or to cut through small roots and vegetation. The tip has rolled just a small amount from hitting rocks but it was easy to sharpen back up. The sheath is made out of ballistic nylon with a large belt loop that should fit up to a 2’’ belt easily. The belt loop is stitched closed and has not come loose. It would have been nice if they had added snaps to close the loop so it could be attached to backpacks and things with greater ease. I deducted one star because the rubber grip has come loose a bit and can now turn a little when digging. It has not slid off. Other then that it has been a great tool. I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a sturdy digger for work or play.

Comfortable, great functionality. Easy to use with a nice grip. The durable little shovel is a great value for the money.

My go too tool for just about everything out in the yard . easily cuts through grass roots, so I used it as an edging tool. I also used it to clean around the sprinkler heads.
