26 Gauge 0.016 Dead Soft Copper Sheet Metal - 6x12 Inch

NO they are not solid nickel silver but plated copper.I tried to chemical etch them and there is only a thin layer of white metal the rest is copper.Deceptive listing.

This copper sheet for hobby work is hard to find locally (i.e. impossible). Thank goodness Amazon carries this. My only complaint is that this 28 gauge is a little thin to work with for my applications. I will order 26 gauge next time. Live and learn.

Great product. Packaging was important and copper sheet arrived in excellent condition. As described. Used for a bird house roof - perfect!

Used this as a shim for fitting a gap between two exhaust pipes. Pound it to a perfect round, rolled it in the outter pipe and fit the smaller pipe in. Perfect. Sealed exhaust from escaping. Was easy to work with.

A nice sheet of copperI used this for some craft work. It arrived unscratched and unbent. That’s a big plus.

It is a fine product for general use. However I ordered it because of its advertised thickness. It is not .010! It is .0155 or 1/64th of an inch. More like a #27 or #28 guage..
