A beautiful pen
I had been considering the Parker Sonnet Cisele Ballpoint Pen for a long time and finally decided to buy it recently. I can now say it has met my expectations. It is solidly built, absolutely gorgeous to look at, and writes surprisingly well with the included Parker Quink refill. I had seen older versions with chrome trim, but now that I have this one with gold trim I am quite pleased with it.My only suggestion for Parker is to someday come out with a slightly larger pen with the Cisele design, as the Sonnet is just barely big enough for me. Otherwise highly recommended.

A Classic Parker Pen
My father has had this style of pen as long as I can remember. I noticed he had lost his before we moved him into a memory care facility, so for Father’s Day we replaced it. He was thrilled!!This style is especially advantageous because the waffle imprint prevents the pen from sliding around while you’re gripping it. Refill are easy to find. Finally, it’s spiffy looking, with a reliable and classic design that holds up to years of use.

Very nice pen.
Writes fantastic and feels like a good old fashioned Parker. Beware of the cheap China made copies sold on the auction sites. They are total junk. If you don't want to spend the big bucks on a platinum Montblanc, this is the alternative and feels like quality. Great compromise. Parker does a great job with the pen but as always, remember; a pen is only as good as its cartridge. I've seen some very bad 3rd party Montblanc replacements that are garbage and should be avoided. Same with Parker, Schaefer or other ink replacements. Overall, great. Not cheap but nothing like the high dollar pens.Pros: Quality, feel, and performance.Cons: A little pricey. Don't get it if you are prone to losing pens/pencils like so many I know. Otherwise, yes and yes.Recommended? Yes.

Love this Pen
this style is my favorite of the Parker Pens. I had it 30 years ago then lost it and you never find these pens! Mechanism is solid, has a good weight in the hand, and I especially like the checkered like grip. Now where to get ink since Parker doesn't make ink anymore. Get this pen and begin hour quest to find the ink. You can call ParkerPens in the US and they will ship you two refills of the blue and black (4 total) for starters.

Disappointed
The pen looks and feels good. Since I have started using this year the bottom of the pen has taken on the appearance of spilling ink. The refill is not overflowing and I am trying to wife it and the blue colour is spreading. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am given that the damn pen costs so much.
