Men's Nylon Trifold Wallet

Better than expected. The see-thru window is sewn into the wallet so it can't fall out, and it flips over to reveal a second see-thru window for another picture ID. The Velcro enclosure lasts for years and, can be bypassed if you prefer, depending on which third of the wallet you fold in first. I've owned several of these over the past decades, and they are quite durable and do not absorb heat & moisture or develop mold like leather wallets. This particular wallet does not have a zippered compartment for coins or other small loose items (like a key, for instance). Very practical, and a good value at < $15. I like the simple, solid color (black) appearance. Might not suit you if you prefer a leather wallet stuffed to the hilt and as thick and moist as a club sandwich...(Ick!). BONUS: The textured nylon fabric does not tend to slip out of one's pockets at inconvenient times like a slicker material often does!

The wallet hold about 10 cards and has a id slot. The material doesn’t affect the cards like leather wallets do. It’s also pretty compact since it’s a trifold.

Really attractive, sturdy wallet. Lots of slots. The Velcro keeps it closed very securely. If the outer fold slots are filled, it becomes difficult to close it, since it gets too fat to bend easily, but I place slim paper items there and the thicker plastic card in the other, plentiful slots. One negative is that the slots are quite tight for plastic credit cards and can be hard to pull them out. Fits well in my back pocket and the color is very appealing. Overall, I like it.

I like the fabric material. Unlike some leather ones, this one doesn't peel. I always had the problem of wallets peeling off or discouloring. This one is perfect

Great wallet

My leather bifold wallet wasn’t holding up well, and credit cards were falling out. Time for a replacement. I knew I wanted a trifold made out of nylon. After doing some research, I chose the Timberland trifold. It’s far better than I expected. Even with six cards it’s very slim. It fits easily into the front or back pocket. The removable ID holder can handle one or two ID cards. The construction is quite good., much better than I expected. Unlike leather wallets, it holds its shape. I got the olive-colored model which is very attractive and understated. I installed a thin tracking card from Tile, which has a very long range. Even if I’m on the top of my home, I could clearly hear the the sound from my backyard. (Do NOT get a wallet with an air tag holder. It significantly adds to the thickness of the wallet. The only benefit of the Air Tag is it can show on a map where it’s located. I find that I often misplace my wallet in a hotel room just as I’m ready to leave.)

I was super drawn to this wallet as I REALLY liked the sleek design (all black wallet with the white Timberland logo) as well as the price. The only thing I didn't entirely like was that it was velcro. Timberland doesn't make any similar looking non-velcro wallets, at least that I could find, so I went with this anyway. Upon receiving, I realized I really loved the look of it and the quality but was going to hate using it as the velcro is VERY strong and VERY noisy when opening. It attaches VERY STRONG, of course, because it's velcro. Some will buy it just for that feature, however I wanted a simple wallet that looked like this one, really without the velcro. So I took to google. HOW TO DULL VELCRO. At first I tried applying a small bit coconut oil to both pieces thinking it wouldn't stick as much but that didn't work, it had zero effect. Then I stumbled upon a site that said all you have to do is take a lighter and slightly melt the teeth side so it doesn't attach as strong. WOW, DUH. Makes sense. So that's what I did. I slightly melted some of the teeth so it still attaches but just barley. I'm fine with that. now there's virtually zero noise when opening but it attaches just enough to stay closed when not in use. and it didn't alter the look of it whatsoever. If you choose to do this, I suggest doing it in very tiny requirements to get it where you want it. Don't just take the lighter and melt the entire strip. Barley let the teeth touch the flame for a microsecond in a spot here and there, then see how it attaches, repeat as necessary until your satisfied. I figured i'd post this suggestion here as I've seen a few complaints about the velcro and was in the same boat. IT'S GREATEST WALLET EVER NOW THOUGH!

I’ve actually returned to review this item after using it for a long time. It goes everywhere with me and has been on several holidays too. Stitching is still in perfect condition and no sign of damage or ware outside of being grubby. All cards, cash and ID are secure and nothing has ever fallen out. Excellent value for money and I would highly recommend

It was very good.

A very durable long-lasting wallet. I've been using it ever since I bought it and it's still going strong. I actually modified it too. I cut out one of the internal pieces and did some restitching and I've converted it a little bit and it's one of the few wallets you can actually do that with. The fabric is durable and you can get the same kind of fabric from almost anything. I love it. I even added a grommet so I cut a chunk out and stamped a grommet on it and attached a paracord reinforcement so I can't lose it and I haven't seen any issues. A bomb-proof wallet. Highly recommend. I use it every day. 4.7/5 , good buy.
