This is version 2, with some additions - A collection of professional quality color photos of various consoles, their internals, gamepads and some peripherals. Though IMO instead of internal photos of every playstation or xbox gamepad they should have placed more than one photo of some older things like MSX. It gives too much space to the new stuff, in my opinion. Compared to the version 1 of the book this one at least has ZX Spectrum, VIC-20, MSX. Still no Amiga or ST, though there are CD32, CDTV. And there are several VTech consoles, too many if you ask me. Does anyone even care about those? Also, compared to the V1 it has a short retrogaming section with photos of mini-consoles, Everdrives, even a PVM monitor. They removed a few things in this version, but nothing too important. Removed 2-page photo of Switch, moved red Wii to the appendix chapter.. There's one extra complaint. Not about the book but about desertcart. The cover of the book has a few minor scratches that could only happen before it was packed. Polish desertcart disappoints me yet again.
