SoLo Gi Energy Bar Lemon Lift Gluten Free Low Glycemic with 10 grams of Protein, 1.76oz (50g) (1 Box of 12 Bars)

This bar is nothing to rave about, but I have tasted worse. The lemon is a nice coverup for a protein taste. It is a small bar.

This product has a nice lemony taste, however, the main reason I ordered it was to keep my blood sugar balanced. Unfortunately, this did quite the opposite! After eating this product my blood sugar fell very low and actually made me pass out. (I do suffer from insulin resistance, but knowing that I ordered this product to help keep my blood sugar more even.) I caution anyone with insulin resistance to beware before ordering this product!! I feel like I wasted a lot of money on a product I can no longer use. Very disappointed :(

the product is absolutely great… It taste fantastic and hard to refrain from eating just one. Sadly, I will not purchase these anymore as the price has gone off the chart for me… from 22 dollars up to 27.00.. A five dollar increase is way too much of a jump. To go up that much in price in that period of time, you would think they are connected to the Oil industry. If you can afford the increase, enjoy because they really are very good.

I have been looking for a bar that does not give me blood sugar spikes (and the subsequent dips = cravings).The "Low GI" claim here is very deceptive. I am baffled that 38% of this 50g bar consists of sugars (19g; total carbs 26g)! This is not low GI in any book. Unfortunately we always have make sure to check the nutrition facts.

I eat these on the occasional morning when I'm running out the door and do not have time to prepare breakfast. They are delicious, satisfying and never spike my sugar.Update: this product price has increased about $12.00 since my review - the increase is only on the lemon flavor. Trying a new flavor...Update: price seems reasonable again. Yay!

Solo bars are so delicious, especially the Lemon Lift flavor. I grab one on the go at lunch time and it keeps me going until dinner. One of the best bars of this type I have ever had. I am a fitness trainer and I recommend them to my clients of which some are diabetics and they love the Solo bars. They do not experience the sugar spike and drop like with other bars or like candy bars. Great product!

After reading reviews I decided to try this product, so glad I did. Taste is very satisfying. Usually have a bar in the moring, and sometimes for lunch as well. Holds me throughout the day. I've already order this flavor x2, and now waiting for my next order to try the peanut butter.

The good news - These are delicious!The bad news - These are delicious... I found it impossible to just eat one, I thought this box would last at least a couple of weeks since I'm not big on sweet stuff but I was wrong, they barely lasted the weekend.
