Tesla Men's UPF 50+ Long Sleeve Rashguard MSR Series

Like many other reviewers, I'd definitely recommend sizing up. I'm 5'10" and 158 lbs. with a slim/athletic build. I typically wear size small or medium shirts, usually falling into the small category. In this instance, I sized up to medium and got the exact fit I was looking for. If you want the "superhero in spandex" look, order your size. If you want a snug but not overly tight fit, size up one. If you want a baggy fit, go up two sizes.So far, I've only had the opportunity to use this shirt while playing in the sprinkler with my daughter on a 95°F day. It'll cling once it gets wet, but it's not terrible. It dries fast and seems to breathe pretty well.I mainly bought it to wear while kayaking, tubing, and for beach trips and will update further on how it performs in these aspects, but it's definitely worth it already! Tired of constantly slathering on sunscreen.

Many reviews for this product recommend sizing up a size. My impression is that most of these reviewers are wearing this more like a regular shirt than like a rash guard as it's intended. A rash guard is meant to fit snugly against the skin. That is the point of the 4-way stretch material. This snug fit helps prevent rashes/abrasions when using it for water activities.I am just under 5'8", weigh about 155 lbs, and have short arms. The Small size fit me perfectly. (Photo attached.) I'm glad I did not size up to Medium.As for the sun protection, I wore the rash guard out sailing under some pretty intense sunlight and it seemed to protect my skin just as well as, if not better than, SPF 50+ sunscreen.Bottom Line: You probably do not want to size up if you want to wear it like a rash guard as intended. Consider sizing up a size if you want it to fit loosely like a regular shirt. But really, if you just want it to fit like a regular shirt, you may want to consider a regular moisture wicking shirt rather than one made out of a 4-way stretch material.

Good value for the price. I wore this a few times while casually snorkeling in Hawaii. The material was very stretchy, but also snug.I typically wear L or XL mens shirts, ordered this XXL and it was still snug. It was appropriately sized for the function, but unless you have superhero abs, be prepared. I suggest ordering AT LEAST one size larger than you typically wear.

Yeah, this is definitely a compression fit. Definitely not a loose-fitting shirt for casual wear, but a nice snug fit for in the water. I got it for my husband. At 6'6" with a long torso and with a 39-40" sleeve, he is always thrilled to find shirts which have long enough sleeves to reach his wrists and a long enough torso to not ride up. He got a 3XL and it met those criteria. We spent a week at the ocean playing and snorkeling in strong UV rays, and he was very happy to not worry about sunscreen on his arms, low abdomen, or low back.

Exactly what I was looking for, no need to apply sunscreen on arms or back, in combination with a brimmed hat I was fully covered while on vacation. Good quality, dries quickly and great price. I'm 5'7 and 140lbs and got a medium and it fit great. A small would have been too tight for sure. I recommend ordering a size up.

I bought this just before my latest scuba diving trip. I wanted something long sleeve while diving, and, after the dive while up on the boat. I wore it under a shorty 2mm shorty while in the water, and, on the boat after the dive. PERFECT. As others have stated, a size larger worked perfectly for me. It fit tight, but not restrictive. I can see where I may use it outdoors while gardening to keep my arms covered, although it won't stop the nasty thorns on some of my plants.

The shirt works fine for water activities. I selected one size larger than normal based on other reviewers' suggestions, but the shirt fits looser than I would have preferred. If you want it to be skin tight so that the shirt body doesn't slide up your torso in the water, you might want to get your normal size. I was kind of surprised at how long it took for the shirt to dry out. Other similar products that I own seem to dry more quickly.

This shirt worked fantastic. Better than I could have imagined. (1) It fit perfect (I am 6'6", 200 lb and the XL was long enough), (2) It absolutely protected this white boy from the Mazatlan, Mexico sun, (3) When I got out of the water, its cooling effect was incredible, (4) With no seams the shirt was extremely smooth and nice enough to wear to the bar afterwards, and (5) Just use a towel to wipe the water off and it drys very, very quickly. I cannot say enough outstanding things about these shirts. I bought 2 of them and just kept alternating during my stay in Mexico.

I am 6'3" 290lbs and the 3xl fit well. the length is a little long, but I like that -- no plumbers crack. I went for a swim and it really felt like I wasn't wearing it.

Fit as expected and worked great for scuba diving.

A little too big for M size

This fits perfectly on my husband! He usually wears a size Large, but doesn't like it skin tight. We ordered a size up and it fits right on him (not too tight nor too loose).
