I have been using rice cooker for over 30 years, and I used both stainless steel and non-stick rice cookers. I tried this rice cooker for about a month, and there was a little bit of rice stick to this Buffalo stainless steel rice cooker after cooking, but was very minimum. I cooked 6 cups of uncooked rice, and there was about 1 teaspoon of rice stick to the rice cooker. Thus, it is a very good rice cooker compared to my old stainless steel rice cookers. I have not used other functions of the rice cooker. I highly suggest buying this rice cooker. When it is done, make sure keep warm for 15 minutes before scooping the rice out of the pot to ensure the rice do not stick to the rice pot. I have a Buffalo stainless steel wok too, and the wok is best.

This Buffalo rice cooker after cooked the rices results wasn’t that good the Japan Zojirushi cooker after cooking the results is much better than the Buffalo cooker.

I thought this one would take longer to cook but it is. still working after 2 years.

Hard to find large stainless steel rice cookers. Rice does stick a bit to the bottom, but that's a small price to pay to avoid teflon. Takes a bit longer to cook than thinner walled rice cookers, but again, miss me with that non-stick coating ;)
