Quick Hood Loops Trunk Anchor Kayak Tie Downs Straps Bow Stern Canoe Transport Secure Lashing Point 2 Pairs

We have a new Subaru Cross Trek and used the hood anchors as tie downs for our kayaks. They rubber anchors lodged perfectly and securely under the hood and we secured our bow lines through soft nylon loops. We travel over 250 miles over highway and country roads. The loop anchors worked perfectly, looked brand new after the trip and left no marks on our new cars hood. Highly recommend.

These hood loops are exactly what we needed to help tie down our kayaks to our roof rack. The quality is excellent, and they're so easy to use. These were also a fraction of the price of other brands. Another nice thing is that they will fit any vehicle. You just open the hood (and/or your trunk, as needed), place these near the cab of the vehicle with the nylon loop sticking out, and close the hood. Presto! You now have a place to secure your tie down strap or rope to your vehicle. We only needed 2 since we already had a way to secure the tie down straps to the back of our vehicle, but's it's really nice to get 4 in the order in case we need to lend a couple to a friend, etc. The loops seem to be very strong. It's great to feel confident that our kayaks are safely secured to our vehicle. I fully expect we will get years of service from these helpful hood loops.

These work well and are convenient but the webbing will scratch the hood paint if it is not covered with a rag or other material

Fit and works perfect

These were an add on item for when I purchased kayak racks and they are great. The strap is excellent quality and heavy duty and the rubber handle is good quality. The design is great and so helpful for attaching the end lines of kayaks, canoe, etc...it allows you to not have to stretch your rope or straps all the way under your bumper and keeps the strap or rope off of and from hitting your vehicle. It stops the potential damage that can occur when a strap or rope continuously hits your car or a ratchet comes lose and dents your car. The rubber part goes inside your engine compartment or trunk and then you shut hood or hatch, trunk. It keeps it in place. The fabric loop on the other end is where you attach your other straps or rope and it keeps it up and off your vehicle. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to better secure their kayaks or canoe and to prevent damage to their vehicle

The hood loops are the best. I’m replacing the ones I accidentally left on my truck after it was totaled.

I kayak often and have both a basic sit on top and a long 12ft sea kayak. It was super easy to put these under my hood and find a solid place to put them. I drive a subaru forester. I have used these for trips up to 6 hours and these have not caused any damage to the paint of my car. They also did not move or shift during the trip going 70mph the majority of the time. I would definitely recommend if you dont have any solid tie down points.

It's working very well and easy to use. But I see that the rubber would not be durable with the pressure of the cable attached to my kayak.
