It was the beginning of the year. “New year, new me!” I was like, ya know, in the midst of life-changing habits, and I wanted to document them to keep myself accountable. It worked!! My life has genuinely changed. Seeing how I’ve changed my habits over the past several weeks has helped immensely. I jot down my thoughts every other night or so and it helps me kinda figure out what I need to do the following day to work toward my goal. This journal has been perfect for that. I love the color varieties (I picked yellow because sunshine and fun!) and the size. It’s small enough that I could pop it into my bag if I wanted to take it somewhere but large enough that I don’t feel like I’m writing in one of those tiny, whimsical notebooks that you’d get from one of those super popular ear-piercing stores in the mall, ya know? I’ll be buying another one of these soon!

Overall, I am happy with this product- the journal is beautiful and has a lot of great features, especially for the price. However, I am giving it four stars because the expandable pocket at the back of the journal came with a small bent corner straight out of the packaging. Luckily the imperfection is minor and doesn't compromise the functionality of the pocket, but it was still slightly disappointing to unpackage it and see that it already had an imperfection. Also, I would have liked to have known beforehand the line spacing of the journal- I looked through the description and couldn't find it listed among the other details. So for anyone who may be curious, the line spacing is a standard 7mm... something I would have preferred to know before purchasing.

Overall a very nice good quality notebook but it came in just a clear plastic wrap (I don’t mind the attempt in trying to cut down on cardboard usage) so the corners were in pretty rough shape just from being smooshed. With more careful delivery/packing I’d definitely give this 5 stars.

I use these books to record my E&L Logs for work and they’re perfect. They’d be perfect for anything. Sturdy, not too large and bulky. The paper is thick and doesn’t bleed through. I use a gel type pen and it doesn’t bleed through to the other side. It comes with labels to put on the front cover and the binding. A close strap and a book mark ribbon. There’s an expandable folder in the back for loose papers, etc.

Its nice when there's a nice thing that also utilizes recycled material! The paper inside is good quality, unlike some notebooks that I remember from my childhood that were made of recycled paper... I really dig the pocket inside the back cover of the journal. Its a handy feature for collecting various notes written throughout my day that I might want to keep and revisit. I might suggest a lower price, to be more competitive with similar journals which don't use recycled material... Overall, I am pleased.
