Will this work on 4/0 wire?

Yes I personally used it on 750MCM which is 5 times the diameter of 4/0. This is a great phase rotation meter.

Does it work on 480-V delta and wye systems?

Yes. It has worked perfectly on all systems and all voltages up to and including 480 for us. Excellent tool and much safer.

Will this work on the output of a VFD?

It should as long as the VFD is running (being commanded to go a direction at 50-60 HZ)

Can this be used on single phase 240 volt service?

Hi, phase sequence is only used to determine the correct phasing of the 3 phase supply. You need not use this device for single phase at all. You only need a volt meter to ensure that the supply is in order in terms of L N E.
