I was tired of how long it was taking things like cookies to cool down on clean dishtowels so looked into these. Worked out fine--they are just lightweight wire racks, I guess painted with enamel-type paint. The cookies cooled down quickly and evenly and I had less breaking and cracking. I hope they last a few years since they work well and are pretty inexpensive.

The cooling racks are really nice and made well. However, they are not oven safe. On the Amazon website it states the these racks are oven safe up to 450 degrees. The packaging on the rack states it is Not Oven Safe. Not returning because I bought them for cooling.

our old cooking/cooling racks were hard to clean and all the coating was coming off, so we bought this to replace them. So far so good, easy to clean, non-stick, able to put in the oven and good value for the price. We plan on ordering another one.

Got this quality rack for cookies and it didn't disappoint. Easy to clean.

This may seem crazy but I didn't order these for the kitchen. As much as I love nature I've been battling squirrels that love to dig in the pots on my deck. Trust me when I say I've tried dozens of things. I don't want to harm them, just stop them from digging up my precious, small garden. These actually work amazingly well. Gives the plants room to sprout and thrive (hole dimensions vs grown stem size does matter) and the squirrels can't dig. Not perfectly shaped, not the prettiest but the only thing that had worked for me. Lol

I have always needed something to place hot pans and pots on when I am cooking. I use this for placing hot pans of food that I cook for meals and not just used for baked goods. What I mean is that I usually have several dishes cooking at one time and if some of them get done before something else, I can use this to place a hot pot/pan on until the rest of the food is done. I hate placing something hot on my counters and had been using pot holders, but this is even better--& I can put more than one pot (if small enough) on it. I would buy this again.

Wilton has the knack of making durable metal kitchen baking accessories, such as cookie sheets, pizza pans, bread/loaf pans and cooling racks like this one. All are extremely well made, durable, easy to clean, and not over-priced. If basic instructions and common sense are used, they will last and work well. This oven cooling rack is no exception. It's well made, nicely finished, doesn't have any weird coating that flakes off, and is quick and simple to clean. It does the job for which it's intended - allowing hot items from the oven to cool evenly, extremely well. Buy 2. Or 3, if you're an eager baker. You'll find uses for them. (I made one into a wall-hanging rack for pots, using S-hooks. But that's another story) I don't know of another product that's such good value, and darn near indestructible. Yes toy wire "cooling racks" can be found at the $ shops - the kind that rust or fall apart quickly. This item will not do that. Very useful, durable and good value. 5 Stars.
