There are a lot of reviews saying that this bottle lid is not tight and the water is leaking .mine is perfect. You just need to tighten the lid properly.I love this bottle. It does not smell after a week of having water in it.

Some said the top leaks. But mine does. It’s beautiful and works great!

The bottle has a dark stain, possibly from lead or some other metal contamination. Additionally, the cap doesn’t close properly. It’s a simple fix—use a different material, like steel or BPA-free plastic, for the top part, similar to how Contigo or Under Armour design their leakproof bottles. Keep the copper limited to the lower portion of the bottle (below the neck) for its benefits, rather than using it around the neck where the cap fits. Copper in that area leads to a poor fit and a leaky design. This product is hopelessly designed and mindlessly executed. Honestly, if it were made in China, they’d probably have done a better job.

So cute plastic lid breaks over time but great water bottle for a short bit!

Love this shiny copper water bottle not only for it’s pretty color but for its healthy benefits… love the cap for drinking compared to other bottles that just have a copper top…

The plastic cap does NOT seal. It constantly leaks no matter how you tighten it. Other than that, I like it.

The love the taste of the water. Does not taste like lead, metal or steel. Clear & clean water. However, it leaks while in the pocket of my backpack. It’s hard to screw on correctly.
