SuperMoss (21773) Reindeer Moss Preserved, Chartreuse, 3lbs

This makes my plants look so much better, cuz I don’t have much of a green thumb. I sprayed it with water before working with it , but I that’s not needed. In fact it comes off on you hands (used light green) especially as I was covering a moss ball, that needed the moss to fit. It’s still nice and soft after 2 weeks. May buy some more for my outdoor plants, if the wind ever stops.

Makes any indoor plant look better and works as a good moisture-locking ground cover. The color is pleasant and cheerful, but not loud. Stays soft and fresh. I've never had to replace it. I recommend!

Great for crafting. Unique.

I used to buy this locally at my hardware store's garden center but it went out of business so I turned to Amazon. It was $6 cheaper than at the store. I use it on top of my planters to cover the soil and it gives such a pretty look to my pots. It is dyed so when I water I notice yellow green water running out the pots but It hasn't hurt my plants. Over time it does fade to a pale green and being natural, it does break down and needs to be replaced. I'd say twice a year is good. Its a good sized bag and enough to cover the tops of 10, 6" pots twice a year.

I ordered 3 bags of preserved moss for a project. 1 dark green and 2 chartreuse bags. The dark green was light fluffy, nice size moss. 1 of the chartreuse bags was bright and good, but the other bag was dingy chartreuse and a lot of clumpy dingy, hard and brittle moss so I had to spend more time using the good part of the moss. I made it work. I was so pleased with the other 2 bags that I still gave this review 4 stars. I would still order this again because preserved moss is just so hard to find. 2 out of 3 good bags is still good.

A very useful moss. Not a pleasant odor but it separates easily so you should have less time with direct contact. So far it’s in direct sunlight. It looks green and plushy. Hopefully time will tell if it withstands the weather!

I wanted to make something for a business using their logo and decided this was what I was looking for. The moss was easy to use and soft. It wasn't exactly clean, but it was easy to pick the bits out and since it is a relatively natural product, the bits were to be expected. It did dry out and get hard on a low humidity day, but when the humidity came back it was very soft again. I'm sure a spritz of water will remedy this in the future. (I live in a desert, it WILL get dry again.)My one complaint, which is partly my fault, was that the bags don't all match. I bought several bags the first time and ran out and then bought several more. You can probably see in the pictures a 1/4 of the picture is lighter than the other portion. In person it's far less noticeable thank goodness, and I'll probably be the only one that really knows unless I point it out. But just as a warning - purchase enough to complete the project, or make sure you do it randomly enough that if you purchase more, it won't be such a stark difference. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again if I make more.I'll buy more from here again.

The visible parts of the bag/box contain beautiful pieces of reindeer moss, but the rest is just junk. Probably half or more is not usable. Very disappointing.The natural one is entirely white. Again, more than half of the box is garbage.
