If you’re wondering if this machine is worth it, it is!!
I was first introduced to reformer Pilates after a car accident. I wanted to buy a membership at a Pilates studio but the memberships are EXTREMELY expensive. So I started researching and found this machine on amazon. It was cheaper than the ones I really wanted. But still being a beginner, this machine is absolutely perfect! I put it together alone. Just a few pieces. The machine is already together for the most part. No tools needed. It is kinda heavy. But I’m in decent shape and 31 years old. After buying this machine, I noticed the price went up a couple days later. I’m happy I bought it when I did. I have a feeling this machine will last me for awhile. It’s also compact. You can fold it in half (which is how it came in the box) and roll it away for storage. If you’re wondering if this machine is worth it, it is! Like I said, I’m still a beginner so I don’t need anything to fancy. This machine is basic and serves its purpose. I literally just put it together and used it for about 20 minutes before writing this review! Get this machine!! I also bought red tension bands but don’t foresee needing for awhile. I will get one of those rebounders though and maybe even a box later. But the machine is great as is. Does make a tiny bit of noise while using but it didn’t bother me bc I was watching tv and mainly focusing on breathing. Still, 5 stars!

Worth every penny
I can not stick to an exercise program to save my life. One day I decided that it was because I just wanted to lay down to work out. This machine has helped me greatly! It was easy to assemble and I love the fact that it folds up. I like that it automatically come with 3 different "weight"/tension cords and a fold out poster of the different exercises you want use.I'm the kind of person who just likes to tinker with things and not stick to a specific boring routine, and this let's me crawl all over the place and do all the things however I'm feeling.I was most excited for the leg exercises since I have a lot of energy and tend to pace often. Being able to do squats laying down and jumping/rebounding without the gravity has been phenomenal because I'm still working out and it's something I can stick with. The only thing I don't like about it is that the shoulder pad things are uncomfortable to me... the foam is too hard and I'm not sure this company makes an alternative. I will end up getting creative and sewing something to fit around it.Other than that I'm super happy to just be jumping and stretching and bounding away until I get the energy out!

Great workout!!!
I'm a Pilates Instructor and can't afford a studio Reformer. This is a great alternative and pretty easy to set up. I ordered the 2 heavier red springs separately and have on 2 black and one red. It's a good weight for footwork for me, but eventuall, I'll switch out for another red to make it heavier. The one thing that bothers me is since there are no risers, the straps hit your shoulders when you're doing the leg straps. The lower you go with your legs, the more the straps rub on yours arms/shoulders. I can do endless amounts of exercises on this machine. It's obviously not going to be as smooth as a professional machine, but it's still worth it to me. I'm gonna be sore tomorrow....can already tell. I highly recommend this machine. I'm 5'3", 130 lbs. Also great for an apartment and you can prop it up against the wall so it's out of the way.

Less expensive than a pilates class and fits in my closet when not in use
This was simple to put together, costs less than my monthly pilates class, and I don't have to deal with catty people anymore. Definitely a win!The reformer also comes with a diagram of some different exercises you can do with the machine, so even if you're a newbie, you can get started pretty easily. The only thing I wished was a bit different is that the footbar's height can't be adjusted. It's really important not to use too much weight at one time as the footbar's inability to adjust may mean your knee is not properly aligned if you're too tall or short for the bar's default height. Additional weight here can strain or damage your knees.Actually, there *may* be a way to adjust the height. I will have to look again the next time I take it out.

I wish it were made better
I used it four times but then an integral bolt snapped in half.I tried contacting both the company and Amazon unsuccessfully.I loved using it four times but now it’s dangerous.

Fantastic machine
I've been doing Pilates for over 20 years and had owned an expensive reformer. Prefer this little unit. Easy to use. Folds if necessary. Compact and simple. Like the stationary bike that I bought from Amazon a few years ago, I use the reformer daily. Can't believe that I didn't have to pay much more to get a machine that fulfills all of my needs. If you need a Pilates box for placing on top of the reformer, check widths. This machine has a narrow bed and has limits for height adjustments. Not suitable for anyone very tall or short bc the machine doesn't have the ability to adjust the length of distance between the bed and foot bar. Also has only three levels of tension. I'm 5'5" and normal weight and it's perfect for my size.

A great reformer at a FANTASTIC price
I LOVE this machine. It comes with a poster of exercises to do, and it's super easy to find videos online if you like having someone to follow along with. It's light enough that I can fold it up and put it away easily, and safe enough that my kids can use it, too. And it's such an effective workout - my arms and core have never felt stronger! The only downside is that there are only three resistance bands and not five, but that's a minor issue for me. I don't need that much variety in resistance configuration and can get by with two medium and one heavy resistance.
