My husband works in the construction industry and wears his company hats faithfully every day but sweats a lot. Well, of course, all of that sweat transfers to the hats and they begin to have the inevitable sweat stains. He wanted to wash them but didn't know how to properly, so, we purchased these, placed the hats in them, washed them, and they came out like new. They protected his hats and kept the shape perfectly, he was very impressed. Especially since he doubted that they would hold up because he said they felt so delicate. While it was a little confusing in the beginning to figure out how to separate the top from the bottom and put them back together (after a small struggle, I found the instructions lol) these items work very well.

My husband's favorite hat was so nasty! We bought these to wash it, I had my doubts but three washes later (no fault of the hat shaper it was just that dirty!) His hat looks new! The hat and bill maintained it's shape!

Although the 2 baskets were not identical and mixing up the parts was a little confusing; they did their job.

Little over priced for what you get

The concept is great to wash your hats so they maintain the shape for the most part.It includes 2 racks, one rack is for adult sized hats and one is for a child sized hat. Great if you have children, not so much if you only have adult sized hats.Pros: The hat maintained it's shape after the wash and the hat dried fairly quickly.Cons: I washed a flexfit hat and there were some wrinkles created due to the flimsy nature of the hat itself and the way it was positioned on the rack. Should work fine on a trucker style hat.The rack itself prevents the areas above or below it to be washed. In my case, there was a build up of detergent that wasn't rinsed off in the dishwasher. Not a big deal, just had to rinse it off after it was done in the dishwasher.The bill of the hat was flattend a bit so I had to slightly bend it back into shape.It's a good deal if you need both size racks and does a decent job of maintaining the hat shape.
