It'll hold an assembled 11" ar pistol, labradar, tripod and all accessories/ammo etc while doing load development.. Went from carrying a gun box and tell card board boxes full of stuff to one highly organized container.. Storms got the best case clasps.. They'll never cone open by accident. Material seems a tad sturdier... Only downside, case dimensions are a bit off.. This is truly a waterproof, airplane compatible box. But, like I said it is heavy. **Q: Is this case accepted as airline baggage? If so, any issues?** A: Not that I'm aware of. It would have to go via oversized which simply means it would have to be checked in, in a designated area. Best to check with the airline. **Q: Can the extendable handle system be removed?** A: It has 12 square head screws attaching the handle and frame to the body. Should be very easily removed if you desire. Also, it appears that the wheels will come off with the handles and frame. **Q: Can the foam inserts be removed?** A: I don’t remember as it’s been so long ago, but I believe they can.
