if you love your car, give her some extra spark! and save $$$ :D
These plugs definitely deliver on the fuel economy reports! using standard plugs i was getting 925kms per 60 litres of fuel between brisbane and sydney under exactly the same driving conditions using 98 octane fuel. With these i got just over 1000kms. Now that was impressive, and my car is a 2002 hyundai elantra :) with 240,000kms on the clock!i was going to wait till these plugs were due to reach thier maxiumum life expectancy (currently sitting at 80,000kms and no pinging, burnt or corroded plugs yet) but when i found that i could buy them on amazon and have them shipped here to australia for $21 less than what they are on the shelves per plug.. for peace of mind i'm going to change them early =Donce again, shopping online with amazon has saved me a bucket load! <3, as of 28th april 2014, im still making money off these! read my edit!I love online shopping! Cant wipe the smile off my face haha!***EDIT 29/4/14****ive been claiming that i am getting an extra 75kms per tank on the highway per 60 litres (ive converted a few things to imperial) but another amazon user has claimed a 2 mile per gallon saving on fuel, so i worked this out using my car as an example,...and found i would get 42.9km extra, however i have definitely been getting a consistant 50+ kilometers after using these spark plugs, and im a statistics nutter, keeping records of fuel efficiency, and consumption when ever i install new parts as i enjoy investigating these things. when i input the figure of 42.9km into my cars highway fuel efficiency of 7.2 litres per 100km.. i save 5.95 litres of fuel with these plugs, or 1.31 gallons. 98 octane fuel here in australia is $1.65 average per litre, (i wish my fuel was cheap like the states!), so per 60 litres per week im saving $9.81.these plugs cost $7 ea, so i use 4 of them, $28. It will only take me 3 weeks of highway driving to recoup my costs, perhaps a few weeks more if you factor in the cost of shipping. Here is the best part. Then you start MAKING MONEY!! the lifespan of these plugs is at least 90,000kms, in 4 weeks i will do 4,000 kms of highway driving leaving another 86 weeks to go. 86 x $9.81 = $843.66 !!!!how could you complain with that? it is clearly a win win here folks!

One fine spark plug.
The Japanese car we scoot around in started idling rough and lost power. I recognized the syndrome. Time for a spark plug change. The car came with NGKs, and I'm happy to continue using them. Over the years I've seen many spark plug designs and features come and go. I passed up the split, forked or otherwise as well as the old fashioned copper core spark plugs.Iridium seems to be the top plug. These were available with Prime shipping. I ordered and installed them.Whenever I install new spark plugs I make it a habit to also change the spark plug wires. Sure, a little more money and time, but your are right there anyway. Pull off a cap, or scrape the wire, have corrosion on one of the connections and you're hiking down to the auto parts store.Use anti-seize on the threads. This is a must.Put a dollop of tune-up grease on the top of the spark plug and the connections of the spark plug wire.Torque the spark plug to manufacturer's specifications. Do not over torque. Resist the urge. You do not want to twist the top off of the spark plug and have to extract the base. When all was back together the idle was smooth, glass smooth, acceleration was back, the car was happy again.

A top knotch product
Though the manual says that you should use only twin ground electrode spark plug, NGK (5464) BKR5EIX-11 Iridium IX Spark Plug are the best suited for 1998 Toyota Corolla LE. The idling has improved drastically and the running. of the vehicle is so smooth, my wife sitting in the passenger seat expressed her satisfaction. Besides the plug comes with preset gap. '11' at the end of the plug code stands for 1.1mm (0.044-in) preset gap. It was so easy to install the plugs by lowering it in to the well with out dropping them with the help of Gear Wrench 80546 5/8-Inch x 6-Inch Swivel Spark.(magnetic) that I bought with the plugs. The matching is done very well by the Amazon if you only feed them with the correct description of your vehicle it will be a perfect match. I highly recommend this product. The plugs that was in the vehicle were Denso (3194) K16TR11 Traditional Spark Plug with Twin Ground Electrodes made in Japan appears to be the manufacturers initially installed plugs.Martin10/25/2015

Good Spark Plugs
I guess these are good spark plugs and last a while, however I did a full tune-up on my car. Replaced spark plugs with these, new air filter, I cleaned the injectors and throttle body with that 3M kit from Amazon. I did all that crap and didn't see my Gas Milage go up at all. Maybe a hair like 2mpg but as far as people saying these plugs save them gas they are either full of crap or had some realllllllly dirty plugs before that.

Only use NGK products for Subarus. They are the best!
After years of owning Subaru's, I've learned that they can be very finicky with what spark plugs and spark plug wires are being used on them. For reasons I can't fully articulate why, Subaru's run best when using NGK spark plugs and plug wires.I purchase this kit of NGK plugs and plug wires after discovering I had one cracked spark plug and another one that was coated with oil and not firing right. All four were Bosch and I replaced them with these NGK Iridium plugs and immediately I received a power boost in the car and it worked like an absolute charm! I'm making every effort to go through and replace the plugs in all of my Subaru's with NGK's and NGK wires.
