Scanning got much easier..!!
The product is quite handy for scanning different types of documents. The image quality is upto mark. The software makes scanning very easy and fast. Takes only around 5 seconds to scan a page giving reliable performance. For flattening the curved pages a higher model is required, but this does the job. It'd be a little better if there was finger rejection offered like there is in higher models by using czur cots, however by using black and white scanning option, fingers don't appear intrusive. Easy to connect with windows machine. The availability of light on stand makes the lighting appropriate for various daylight conditions. Would be helping if it has ocr for indic languages. Overall great product and worth buying for large scale scanning usage.

0 star for hindi OCR
If you are buying for converting hindi book in to ms word with OCR then you must NOT buy it Total money and time waste But will give only 2 star for english OCR but didnt worth it because english ocr can be done by mobile also

I am doing a large scanning project for work and need to scan 26 boxes of paper documents. This scanner is perfect for the task because of how fast it is. Unlike most scanners, which have a physical scanner on a motor that slowly moves across the paper to scan it, this one is a camera that snaps a photo in less than a second. As a result, I've gone from scanning one box a week with a conventional scanner to one box in two days with this one. If you're curious what the software and quality of scans looked like, I've attached some photos. Pros - Compatible with Mac; most scanners on Amazon for some reason aren't - Extremely fast scanning; less than a second - Compact and portable - Long return window; I bought this in early October 2021 and have until January 31 2022 to return it - Clear images, especially when black and white mode is enabled - Easy-to-use software that makes large scanning projects a breeze Cons - Foot pedal and auto-scan are not reliable; I've had issues with them doing double scans or not scanning at all, resulting in extra time afterward having to go back and fix it. I find that just pressing the "scan" button in the software is ultimately the fastest and most reliable method - This scanner is only good for flat documents; if you scan a book, the scanner will pick up your fingers in the image, and the text/images will be curved - I can't re-arrange the order of scanned pages in the accompanying software; if I accidentally scan something out of order, I will have to export the PDF, then re-arrange the order of the sheets in Acrobat Reader

There is a glare on literally all of the published texts that I truly to show my students. Not to mention any whiteboard surface. All my instructional videos have this glare right smack in the middle. I’ve googled how to fix this lighting issue, but there’s nothing I can do bc the cam’s lights are not adjustable. I guess this is considered a cheaper docucam, except I spent a couple hundred bucks and I’m not impressed with the value. It’s doing the job, but for this money, I expected it to be more effective.

I wish I had this very valuable "tool" to use as a second camera weeks and weeks ago! I am tutoring K-2nd Grade, via Zoom. I borrowed a document camera from school. Terrible, not in color, not in real time, just terrible. I then decided to return it and buy my own. Meanwhile I did it the old way using an easel with magnets :( I read and researched for several days before choosing my CZUR 800. I cannot say enough good things about the quality, the overall its appearance. Even the pad that comes with it is very good quality. It is light weight, not bulky. I set it up simply by plugging it into my desktop HP monitor. I should tell you that I have a Windows 7. My students, as young as they are, commented on the clarity and color that they see on their end. I downloaded the CD on my desktop computer quite quickly. I will not be using it as a scanner anytime soon, but as a document camera, I rate it over five stars. I will be recommending it to my principal and other teachers. We may be returning to our school site where teachers are still using their "dinosaur document cameras". I also purchased a 4- year warranty.

I am a school-based Speech/Language Pathologist. Last spring when the pandemic hit, I borrowed a fairly antique document viewer from a teacher to use at home to provide speech and language therapy. After a tricky installation, it worked great but the teacher needs it back now that we are all starting online. (probably!) I know my district doesn't have money to buy another one for me so I was going to just try to limp along without one. Super tricky since I use a lot of objects and sequence cards in my therapy. I found this one online and felt the price was very reasonable. I decided to buy it for myself since I will soon have a new out-of-state grandbaby - I can use this to read books together! It was incredibly simple to set up with no glitches at all. The picture on the screen was crisp and clear. The device itself is lightweight but stable and will meet my needs perfectly without unnecessary bells and whistles. I can manipulate the materials, the student sees it on the screen, and I can even take a picture of it to send to the student! I love this thing!!

I bought this item as a scanner and it works well. The foot pedal did not work for me. I'm a teacher so I ended up using it as a document camera. It has a glare so the students don't see it well all of the time. I can't zoom in on a section, and I pretty much stopped using it because of these things. I intend to buy an inexpensive Ipevo or Hue for class. As a scanner it is awesome AND I accidentally dropped the camera and light into a huge mug of hot coffee. I cleaned it, swung it around so the little drops would fall out and it works like before. It took a few days for the image to appear as normal.
