Instead of purchasing fishing gear, I opted to teach my son the value of frugality by crafting our own fishing rod from a stick, thread, and a 5 rupee hook bought from a nearby shop.On our first day, despite our efforts, we returned empty-handed. I could sense my son's disappointment, but I continued to encourage him with the mantra. The next morning, undeterred, we returned to the same spot. After an hour of fishing without success, both my son and I felt disheartened. As a last resort, I suggested we pray. With hopeful eyes, my son looked up to the sky and uttered a heartfelt prayer.Placing the fishing rod into the water without bait, we suddenly felt a tug. With excitement building, I swiftly pulled the rod, and to our amazement, a fish was hooked around its stomach. The joy on my son's face was indescribable as he exclaimed, "You are a super mom!" The catch was not only a victory in itself but also a reinforcement of our belief in perseverance.Grateful for this moment, I thanked the divine, and to our delight, we were fortunate enough to catch another fish. This experience strengthened our belief in the power of persistence.
