We bought the 8' x 10' and the 12' runner. Both are amazing! Great quality.Thick and soft and comfortable. The color match on the two rugs is identical. The color is a bit more sage green than the picture online (which is great). The picture online looks more brown.As some reviews say... yes, it does seem to "shed" a lot. You can vacuum it everyday for a month and it will still be shedding. First, this does not harm the rug. We've had ours for 18 month and it still looks new, even with vacuuming about once a week.Second, it will actually shed onto you (say if you lay on the rug) for about a month. This goes away with time.Third, while it doesn't harm the rug, it does clog up your vacuum. Make sure you empty it regularly as you go.Still, I would buy this again. Great look, great quality.

Thick, nice pattern. Wool is very durable. Had to return the first Savavieh rug because the color was way off from what was shown in the images. I studied pics for this rug and figured they also were not accurate but with that in mind figured the color would fit my decor close enough. It does. It's a muted sage green. For a heavy traffic hallway, it works. I wouldn't trust buying a larger rug if you're picky about color.

We bought the runner and small area rug and they are absolutely gorgeous. They are heavy, very thick and plush, and the colors are muted and quite elegant. They arrived rolled up but are so heavy that they laid flat as soon as we put them on the floor. They look much more expensive than they are.

We received the 8x10 carpet yesterday. Nice quality wool and pattern. Quite heavy. The color is much darker than what is displayed in the picture. I was hoping for the lighter color.Update 3.2.2016: I am returning this carpet. I found the exact same one at Costco (of all places) at $269!! The amazon price is misleading and I don't believe that the original price was over $1000. Disappointed.

The colors, patterns, thickness, and price of the rug are fine. However, we have owned the rug over a month and the runner is still wavy down the length of the rug. We're hoping that it will settle finally in a straight line like the image shows.
