Cold-brewed coffee is probably delicious however it’s made and this certainly makes delicious coffee, but I really like the pitcher’s thoughtful design. While tall, it fits well in a refrigerator door rack. After the coffee is brewed and the filter and grounds are removed, the pitcher’s stopper provides a tight seal to keep the coffee well for weeks. When you open it to pour, a detent position in the stopper let’s you know it is open; turn further to remove the stopper completely to access the filter. The pitcher is clear and resilient— it looks pretty much unbreakable. It’s very smooth and cleans easily. Everything comes apart and can be thoroughly and easily cleaned. When put together again, whether brewing or being poured from, it doesn’t leak. It also makes a larger volume of coffee than most cold brew pitchers (but you can make less if you want).In summary, I think this product is great! I don’t normally write product reviews, but felt moved to do so by how much I really like this thing!PS: A very coarse grind and longer brew times works well. I grind my beans at the grinder's coarsest setting. I get very few fines in the carafe and what there is settles in a day. I can then pour carefully and they stay on the bottom.

Okay so, I see some iffy reviews and I just want to let you guys know off the bat if you have common sense this is NOT hard to use. If you read, you’ll see that it says made for fridge door that’s why it’s awkwardly tall. BUY IT. I got this as a way to save money instead of getting iced coffee everyday, and without a doubt this is one of my top 3 best purchases of my life. The instructions that came with it are simple. I don’t have that many grounds in my coffee? I see others say that in the reviews but I haven’t noticed, yet . Anyways the only thing I struggle with - which has absolutely nothing to do with the product is just making the coffee how I want it, consistency, flavor etc, I also did purchase a milk frothed because why not. Again. BUY THIS. It’s large enough to get enough coffee for several days.

Love love love!!!! I have an old fridge too amd this fits in the door perfectly! Easy to set up, wash and use, I was worried about the filter being hard to clean but the bottom has a twist off lid so you can easily empty and wash this whole unit! Coffee has never tasted so good before hands down love this!

I bought this cold brew coffee pitcher after much consideration. I wanted something simple that wouldn't require a lot of extra steps. I didn't want to have to strain coffee grounds out of a jar so I appreciate that this pitcher comes with a designated filter in which to put the grounds.I also wanted a large capacity pitcher. So this 2 1/2 quart one is perfect. I make one pitcher every two to three days.The instructions are simple. Scoop 15-16 tablespoons of course ground coffee into the center filter (almost to the top of the filter screen). Slowly add cold tap or filtered water over the grounds (just to the top of the filter screen). Sit in the fridge for 10-24 hours. Take out the removable filter, dispose of the grounds, and enjoy some smooth, delicious cold brew coffee.Coffee can be stored in the pitcher for a few days.Pros - The pitcher's components can be removed for easy cleaning.The lid is air tight. - No spills!The filter end comes off to ensure all used grounds can be washed out.Since all the parts can be removed, it's easy to clean.Simple to use. No multiple steps. Just fill the filter with coffee, add water, and set aside.Flexibility. I sometimes make coffee as early as 4pm the day before. If you're forgetful, like me, this is great!Cons - The end of the filter is small. It can be lost if you leave it around. My advice, clean and dry the filter then reattach the cap asap.The pitcher is tall! It's a snug fit on the top shelf of our fridge. There's just under an inch to spare. However, it does fit on the fridge door shelf, so...I don't know if it's dishwasher safe. I usually hand wash all the parts when I empty the pitcher so I can make more coffee for the next day.All-in-all, this is a great purchase. I highly recommend it.

I love this pitcher and enjoying the brew. I am getting tons of grains when I pour the coffee though. I am not sure if I have the filter on correctly since it seems to be flowing through the filter to the slot. Anyone else having this problem or am I not fastening the filter basket correctly?

My primary use for this product is as an air-tight dispensing pitcher for cold-brewed coffee which it does well! I am very happy with it pricewise and quality wise!I do not use the filter that came with it because it was so problematic and messy, instead I use disposable cold-brewing bags which work well for me.Despite the strange construction of the handle/ spout, cleaning the pitcher just needs a little patience but is fairly easy to do assuming you cannot unscrew it off. I was able to unscrew the spout/handle from the body when I first received the pitcher but I have not been able to do it again. I do not want to force it for fear of cracking the pitcher. As I said earlier, though, cleaning is relatively easy even if it cannot be unscrewed.

Do not listen to the bad reviews, they are not using it properly. This works great when used right. Don’t fill the water over the filter, otherwise yes, of course coffee will float into the water. When you’re ready to start drinking the coffee REMOVE the filter with the coffee grounds, otherwise yes... of course grounds will pour into your coffee. Last but not least, YES the lid does come off for cleaning. Lots of reviews saying they can’t get the last of the coffee out or clean it properly. The whole top part with the handle comes off, everything cleans very well.

This cold brew carafe arrived, but we could not remove the brew filter in order to use it. The instructions said a simple turn to the left should work but it did not. I went to return or exchange it, but Amazon US offered no return - fine for an item you don't like, but not for an unusable one. Most disappointed.

The container has a few flaws. It's easy to use, but the filter is too small for the amount of water. I like my coffee strong.Also, there is a little lip inside the lid. After you pour your coffee it pools on the inside lip of the lid. The lids is also too narrow so you cannoot get every last drop out of the container unless you unscrew it.Compare to other coffee maker I have used, the lids are easily removable. Super easy to clean. Though I empty the grinds from the top and not the removable bottom

Very easy to use and clean. Everything comes apart to get all the areas clean. I've found 24 hours is the best brew time after that it starts to get bitter. So far I've made Caramel Cream cold brew and Vanilla Hazelnut and both have come out amazing.

Best cold brew I have had in along time! So smooth. It would be a 5 star review if pouring water over the grounds was a bit easier. Pro tip. Do not fill grounds to the top of the filter, slightly below and your golden. If you over fill you will get grounds in your brew. Other than that highly recommend!
