Best pet stairs every
Best one yet. Pet Loader manufacturers them with high quality materials and it shows. Work great for smaller door opening like the rear doors on a Jeep Gladiator. The capability to add or remove steps should you acquire a shorter or taller vehicle is fantastic. Make it a once in a life time purchase and worth the extra money

NOW THIS .... IS A SET OF STAIRS!!!
Make sure that you are ordering "Pet Loader" stairs, and not somebodies attempted imitation. These stairs are made in the U.S.A., and the quality is evident as soon as you open the box. Made and designed with lots of use in mind, they come with a limited Lifetime Warranty. I have a 70 pound Boxer, and load her into a raised and leveled back seat of a Ford f250 4x4 pickup (which means 40 inches). From a folded closed position, they unfold into position simply by pulling up on the top platform step. The angle is gradual, and the height is like using your home stairs. You just tighten the knob on each side after pushing the arms down to lock (and you choose the height, so these stairs are useable for more than one scenario). I chose the 5-step 14.5 inch wide model, and it gives me plenty of doorway room to set up in for a side entry (because I don't want her riding in the truck bed). I needed something to make up for my age, and having had a stroke. I can load the stairs in thee back of the truck, for trips - and am no longer limited to when my Boxer can join me on the road. I truly recommend Pet Loader stairs, they make a variety of sizes and heights. Unbeatable for quality, longevity, warranty and ease of use. And the part that means the most to me - I can get my dog in the truck safely, and not worry about my back anymore.

Best stairs I could find ..
UPDATE: I have been using these almost a year, and they still work well. My dogs compete in several events, and people will stop and ask me where I bought these stairs. My dogs still feel secure on these steps. I will say the weight of these steps and the time to pull them out and step up is a little bit of a drawback (might get soaked in the rain). However, there arenโt really any other steps or ramps my dogs felt secure enough to use. No regrets, however I wish they would make an actual light version. My three girls are 53 to 58 pound Dobermans, so not necessarily really large dogs. I tried several stairs on Amazon and they were very unstable. Two out of three refused to even try. These steps are stable, but they are huge. I donโt know why someone canโt make dog stairs that are stable but not massive. I have some great ones for my house up to the bed, but they arenโt tall enough for large SUV steps. I dread setting these up somewhat and they also take storage room in your vehicle, they do not fit behind the front seats. Even with those cons, my girls are comfortable and donโt feel like they will fall getting in the SUV, so these are the ones I kept.

All around great product!!
We have a 4 Step for a Toyota Tacoma, and a 5 Step for a stock Ram 2500 Diesel. These are a life saver!! They have held up for 8yrs of constant use with two very large shepherds and multiple friends dogs. Carpet is great, weight is great, ease of use and they fold up to a small profile. The first pair were given to us by some friends when their dog died and they used them for YEARS before they passed them on, I did have to reglue the top step carpet edges because of glue fatigue and abuse of Hot Cold extreme weather changes. And we honestly abuse the hell out of them!! 100% satisfied, Bought a second set because of two trucks and the height difference.

absolutely a must have
Our 100 lb Labrador did not like getting in or out of our truck. With him weighing a 100 lbs it was too much to lift him up and down every time we wanted to take him. After trying a few different product we decided on these steps and they were a lifesaver. It took him about 4 days of going up and down to understand they are just like the stairs in the house. The steps have a coating so they are not slippery. I like that they are adjustable if we use another vehicle that is not as high as the truck we can still use these steps. The steps go up in seconds and are solid with very little movement when he is going up or down. Compact, folds up into a square pack and easy to store on the floor, back or trunk. I wish we had bought these years ago for our other dogs.

The best
My wife and I have tried at least four different ramps and all but gave up on them. Then I stumbled across the Pet Loader. These things are true folding steps. There is no fabric for steps on this thing. We bought the aluminum version and it is over-kill for our 60lb dog. But that is great as our dog would not go up anything else we had bought. It took a whole 7 minutes to get her to go up. Once she did, up and down she went. The carpet gives our dog a secure non slip surface. They are great and, the 14 inch version we bought fits in our side passenger door as well. So we can use it in the doors, rear hatch and it solves our problems when towing our RV. Last great point about the Pet Loader. It weighs 2lbs less than any other ramp we bought. If you are looking for a solution, the Pet Loader is well worth the money.

Could not be happier!
We have two dogs...Riley (65 pounds) and Kai (35 pounds). Kai has insisted that we lift her into the truck (2004 Explorer SportTrac) for the past 8 years and Riley, who is 11, has been leaping into and out of the truck on his own until recently. We've used ramps in the past with other dogs, but they've required a lot of training, probably because they never really felt sturdy and safe. Plus, we needed to get our dogs into the cab of the truck, not the back, so could not use a ramp safely. Concerned about Riley's aging joints (and our aging backs), I discovered PetLoader online. After exploring the website and reading lots of reviews, I still had some questions about which size would work for our truck, so called the company directly. The owner, Bob, picked up the phone (!!!) and was super helpful in answering all of my questions. I placed the order for a 5-step, 14.5" Ultralight that day. Three days later, our PetLoader arrived. We unboxed it, carried it out to the truck, unfolded it, and got the top step situated on the backseat quickly. Then we brought the dogs out on leashes. We anticipated some training, but Riley just walked up the steps and laid down on the seat. Kai needed to sniff it a bit more, but then she too walked up the steps and laid down next to Riley. It was a little harder to get them out...getting in the truck means going someplace fun!...but with a treat bribe, they each nonchalantly walked down the steps as easily as they had walked up them. My husband and I were stunned. Riley and Kai are both pretty cautious about new situations, but the PetLoader was nothing to them. They obviously feel safe using it and we are thrilled to have found an easy solution to our problem. Of course, we experienced a little sticker shock when we first priced the PetLoader, but it is so much less expensive than a trip or two to the vet. (What wouldn't you pay to avoid taking your hurt senior dog to the vet?) The PetLoader is new to us, but seems like it is built to last for years. And we love that the PetLoader is made in Illinois by people who clearly care about quality and the well-being of our pets. Our only regret is that we didn't discover this item years ago. Highly recommended!

Portable fold up stairs great for certain vehicles, just not my big truck unfortunately
While I wanted to love these stairs for my lab, unfortunately she wonโt use them. They fold up for easy storage, very heavy and solid. They are slip resistant which is critical for dogs to feel safe. These foldable stairs arrived fully assembled which is a huge time saver. I have a larger pickup which only allows me to set them up on the side rear door but they do not sit flat as they hit the door when itโs open. This creates an unstable feel to them as they feel tipsy. Definitely better for a rear entry vehicle. Product itself is great, just not a good fit my my scared girl ๐

Do not buy from Amazon
I bought this from Amazon. Fantastic product but ยฃ100 more expensive to buy on here. If you use the 10% welcome code on get set pet, with the already cheaper price then its exactly ยฃ100 cheaper. Feel like I have been ripped off
