I bought these lights in an attempt to overwinter my large ferns. I hung them from our basement ceiling and placed the ferns underneath. The lights worked perfectly! Come May, my ferns still looked big and healthy with plenty of new growth.The lights are a nice sturdy quality, the flexibility is great because I can easily bend them to the position I need. The timer made life so much easier. I didn't notice any significant jump in the electric bill. Plus the different modes ensured I gave my ferns the light they needed. Overall, I have no complaints. They did exactly what I needed them to do.

I bought this to set up at work, where I am growing some plants to brighten an otherwise drab environment. This setup works well, giving these pothos plants some light. The plants seem to respond well, growing towards the lights. The clip holds the device in place nicely, and the controls work just fine. A solid product for hobbyist plant growers.

I’ve had these for 2 months so can’t speak to longevity. I will say I used them in a corner with several indoor plants that just weren’t getting enough light. The difference in my plants is OBVIOUS. I have read a lot about grow lights and how specific they need to be, how bright, what light frequencies, etc. All i know is these were really easy to install; the clips work great on the shelf and stay put. The time is incredibly simple— I don’t even think i needed directions to figure it out. These stay on the 12hr timer. EVERY PLANT (5 peperomia varieties, a string of hearts, coleus propagations— which all rooted and sprouted new leaves— and a thanksgiving cactus) under these lights has exploded with growth. After considering grow lights for so long, and thinking they may not make a difference unless they were really expensive, I’m kinda mad I didn’t get these earlier. My plants have all perked up and are showing new growth where they had previously been stunted. The price is reasonable, and while i can’t speak to the specs or the science, im very comfortable recommending based on the growth and vitality i’ve witnessed in my own plants.

As pictured and works as shown as well. Love the different light settings and hues. Only slight issue is the stability and hold in position of each arm of the light. Still worth buying though!

I bought an additional set after receiving my 1st set within a month or so. They are really nice and I love them.The dimmer options and timer will go along way in helping you find what works best for your space and your plants. The lighting ranges from an led blinding white to a soft warm [candlelight] yellowy light and a combo of both in-between with no noise that I've heard, no hum or buzz and there are no additional colored lights.They have a strong grip with added foam not scratch whatever you clip them to. I have mine on a bookshelf that is abour 1/2 of an inch thick and I had no problem attaching them. I believe they could clip on to an inch wide base with a little shimmy 😊The cord is short [again mine is on a bookshelf] so I added mine into an extension cord with no problem. Once you clip them on, plug it in, aim, and you're set. I found them very easy to use, install, and they turn on and off automatically [at the same time each day for the duration you set] when you use the setting option. If you prefer, there is also a manual setting that you can turn on an off as you like - which also cancels your automatic settings.With two arms I love I get a wider range [not just above my plants] to cast my light and that was something I was looking for. After 2 years...one finally died. But works great for plants and above my fish tanks. Timers work awesome too. Very bright. Good flexibility. Will order more eventually.
