Yes, this is an excellent oil and I've use it for decades on both of my vehicles. However. No matter how good the oil is that you put in your engine, if you base your oil change intervals on what it says on the container (in this case 15,000 miles) you will destroy your engine. Change your oil every 5,000 miles or twice per year, which ever comes first. That's it. Oil changes are inexpensive, your engine is not. I just completed a top-end restoration on my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 6.0 that has had its oil changed as stated above for 23 years. When the valve covers came off, the mechanic doing the work said, "I've never seen rockers this clean."

This oil have proven to be really great in quality and longevity. It is recommended on the bottle to go as long as 15,000 miles but that seems a little hard to believe. I still change it at 6,000 and have never had engine issues, the engine is very quiet and internally it is very clean after using a camera to see the inside of the engine. Synthetic is very good for any car if you want something to last long.

Regardless of the weight your car needs, Castrol is an excellent oil and I've used it since early 80's in everything I've owned. Never had any engine problems with any car I've used this in. Great quality oil at a great price. I ALWAYS recommend Castrol to anyone who asks what they should buy.

The Castrol EDGE High Mileage 5W-30 Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil in 1 Quart bottles is reputed to be some of the finest oil. I am using the in my briggs and stratton lawn mower engine as the 5w-30 weight is recommended for my particular engine. I have used this exact type and weight before and it has performed admirably for my purpose. Would definitely recommend it.
