Review of 4 types of Cuddl Duds - Including Flexfit Leggings
I've owned almost every type of Cuddle Duds made over the years. I'm stuck in cold Chicago and this is how I survive. The newer products are stretchier, more form-fitting, and most have thinner fabrics than years earlier. The Flexfit type is a durable thin layer, perfect for when you need mild to moderate warming and easy to fit under clothes-- no bulk. (I find that it reaches my waist, which I like, and that the small fits comfortably -- tad loose but I like - and the X-small fits snug/tightly -- I'm 5'2" and 103 lbs with substantial, long legs.) For greater warmth there is "fleecewear" which is thick and "climatesmart" with is a moderately thick, less stretchy, and durable. There is a "softwear" which is extremely soft and comfortable, but thin, that I love for tops, as one version is low cut at neck and I can fit under blouses without showing.. The legging version of softwear is really comfortable put I've found that it "pills" after some use-- so will not be as durable. That's why I bought the Flexfit leggings. They don't "pill" -- the fabric retains it's integrity. (The fleecewear also pills a bit but I still like it. SIgh.) In sum, for durable leggings, I now prefer the Flexfit for mild-med warmth, the Climate Smart for moderate warmth, and Fleecewear for max warmth. I've not tried the Flexfit top since I love the Softwear top.As for fit and sizing of Cuddl Duds, in general, I have small torso and bust, and find the X-small fits snugly - esp at my substantial arms -- and the Small fits a tad loose, and is slightly more comfortable for my tastes. I think fit it a very personal choice.

Is "FlexFit" some kind of passive-aggressive marketing ploy?
I was excited about the leggings after reading good reviews on Amazon. When I got them, I found the fabric to be soft and breathable, though a bit on the thin side; however, when I put them on, they were super stretchy - I've never seen anything so stretchy - and this made me nervous. Will they stretch out and start falling down after wearing them? Why are they so stretchy? No one is going to need that much flex unless they end up gaining weight...a lot of weight....which makes me think that maybe "flex fit" is another way of sayng "Well, you're a stress eater, and likely to blow up soon now that you're getting older, so why don't you buy these, just to be on the safe side? It will save you money, really." You know, something one of those friends you don't talk to anymore would say.I haven't had a chance to try them out yet, but will post an update when I do. Maybe their strechiness has hidden benefits....

never any small sizes in store
The stores have good promotional prices and coupons. I spoke with the makers and they could not have been less accomodating. Word to the wise when you carry an item, consumers are at the other end looking and comparing different brands and weighing in on what's cost effective! If you want volume and repeat business, you must not give your profit first priority! What impresses customers first and foremost is that you will not only match but beat your competitors price. When that is established, you not only have my attention, but I am singing "your praises" while establishing a circle of influence. We are happy to pass on what has made us so content. Get rid of your robotic, flat-line scripted dialog when we are seeking to connect and be understood! There is nothing more satisfying then a pleasant human exchange when challenges present themselves.

Ok, but...
Being short-waisted but carrying extra pounds, I wanted a lower-rise "long john" than I can usually find. These fit the bill. In fact, if anything, they were a little large in the legs and were a nice change from feeling like a sausage. I liked the flat seems, crotch gusset, and the material slid smoothly under my jeans. But after wearing around the house under my jeans for an hour, they seemed a bit 'clammy' instead of warm. Maybe the loose fit? Not sure if I will keep them.

Love the feel of these under garments
I am hard to fit, small but kinda thick for a petite person. Love the feel of these under garments. The small worked for me. I am 120 lbs and 5' 2" a little long but no problem. Have not worn under my pants yet, which is the ultimate test as I hate the feel of thickness under my jeans. I think they will work even if jeans fit snug.

Good quality / light-weight
Good quality / light-weight. The fit is something else... I ordered it in L, using the size chart as reference and it's huge. I cant even consider to keep it because it fits loose everywhere. I'm returning in it for a smaller size because the quality is what i expected.

These leggings are AWESOME!
I originally ordered these in large because I can't stand tight leggings. They were too big in the waist for me but as soon as my daughter saw (touched!) them, she asked if she could keep them and order me a pair in medium. Now we both have a pair and both of us love them. The fabric is like silk - super comfortable and warm.

They have a lower waistline
Love them they fit perfect and they have a lower mid rise waistline which I like much better then some of the others they carry which are much to high
