Sellstrom Lightweight, Durable, Bucket Style Passive Welding

I have run selstrom hoods for a long time. I'm not a huge fan of the headgear for reasons that other reviewers have already talked about, but the hood is light, I don't have to cut vent holes in it like other pipeliners I have to keep the lens clear. It seems like other reviewers are trying to get huge performance out of a $50 some dollar hood. I use these because if I burn it up I'm not out a huge sum of money. I use mine daily and it is holding up as well as any other good that I have used in the past. I love having the flip front, and this hood performs as well as other pipeliners that you have to modify to get the flip front hood. Will continue to buy these.

I just wanted the hood so I can get the adapter for another hood that I have. The adapter works good. Yall should sell the adapter by itself it will be nice not having to purchase a hood that I am not going to use

Advertised as lightweight but it’s pretty heavy

I bought this hood to use with a hard hat at work. It’s a large hood and fits great over the hard hat. Not the lightest hood though, but works great and is durable. Flip front piece is great and even better when using a auto dark lense.

A good hood so far the only problem I have is keeping the hood up due to the headgear it starts to slowly creep down just like some of the pipeliners I had before.

These hoods are the cheapest quality hoods for high prices . You can find HIGHER QUALITY HOODS FOR CHEAPER THAN THESE.THE PIPELINER HOODS ARE CHEAP AS WELL,JUST FYI from someone who custs into these hoods for. Living

I bought the shield strictly for the flip lens to put in my pipeliner hood. No complaints with the flip lens. But why the eff can't you find just a flip lens instead of buying a complete hood.????
