Works great. A real time saver.
Eliminated my concerns of possibly damaging a compressor if I attempted to add refrigerant too fast. My piece of mind was well worth the price.

Freon Liquid to gas orifice device
This device takes the liquid Freon and passes it through an orifice; the pressure drop across the Orifice causes the Freon to gas off. A compressor pumps vapor and does not pump liquid without damaging the compressor. Hence the use of this device. So do yourself a favor and get this device, It allows you to charge 410A and other freon blends that must be in a liquid state to be charged. Gases enter the low side of the compressor in a gaseous state without separating the freon blends mixture rate. The purpose of adding Freon on the low side is the low side line has a lower pressure and depending on the temperature outside your drum pressure might not be enough to overcome your high-pressure line. This quick charge those three things for you: 1. It allows you to add Freon on the low side and cut your charging time down. 2. It mitigates the higher head pressures on the liquid line versus drum pressures. 3. It keeps you from damaging the internal components of the compressor. With this device attached to your gauge manifold on the center port you simply turn your freon drum upside down to feed liquid freon to this “Kwicharge” device. The liquid freon turns to a gaseous state and enters the manifold; routed to the low pressure “Big” line, (use the blue hose side of manifold). The gas feeds into your compressor which then compresses it through the condenser, the condenser cools it and turns it back into a liquid to feed the evaporator coil. And there you go HVAC 101. Hope this helps you.

Great Tool
Although, I'm not a HVAC pro, I can read and watch Youtube videos. This little device works great when you need to add refrigerant to your compressor. Typically, when adding refrigerant to the low side line, it's a slow process as you must do it gradually so as to not overload your compressor with too much liquid refrigerant. This device is really an expansion tube which allows the liquid to turn into a vapor for a brief period before it enters your compressor. Therefore, when the system is running you can refrigerant more rapidly without killing your compressor.

Revolutionary product
Cuts my charging time in half!!! With no chance of flooding the compressor. I'm used mine on my high rise jobsite in st.pete Florida, I've charged 228 systems in that tower with his attachment with no issues. Great product. I've bought one for all my service techs. Great investment.
