Great game and great mechanics
I wasn’t very sure about buying this game, it looked too cool to be true. But well, the game is entertaining, you can play several modes, easy to learn and joyful to play. I recommended. The min figures, the dice, and the map itself are fantastic.

Cool game
Really cool game has a lot of interesting stuff to do only problem is the rule set is a little bit hit or miss and you got to look up stuff online and the figurine parts are not the sturdiest things you'll probably need a super glue a couple back together

Whale-hunting Air Pirates! Thar' shay blows!
Whale hunting air pirates. This about sums up this game in a nutshell. The planet you "sail" the skies on has an eternally blowing wind that changes directions frequently, which changes where you can navigate to and if you should happen to get attacked by the planet's native creatures (crestors, i.e. "sky whales"). You're trying to harvest these creatures for their teeth in order to build up one's notoriety. Once harvested, you have to return to the sky base with them in tote. Along the way, you'll likely be attacked by crestors and perhaps even be looted by your fellow air pirates! There's crew to hire, equipment items to assist you on your expeditions and even objectives to accomplish while you're gaining your booty and notoriety.Overall, the game has a decent amount of depth to it and seeing what happens if you try Strategy A or Strategy B or Strategy C adds to its replayability. There's different heros (pirates?) to choose from, each with an asymmetrical bonus, that can certainly sway how you play and what strategies to employ. At a 1-5 players count with game duration at around 45-60 minutes for the game, Windward is sure to bring about some entertaining game nights.

Great fun game
This is a fun game once you figure out the rules. Rule book isn’t the greatest but the other components are high quality and great design. The game itself is kinda opennworld card drafting , worker placement with lots of ways to win and lots of ways to lose. You can be a pirate or a gas collector or a scientist and tag the animals the others will hunt.

Fantastic Game!
This game is one of the best games I have played in awhile. The play time is not that extended but it has a complexity to it that keeps it interesting at the same time. The theme is good like a Moby Dick adventure, steampunk type game, adventures and creatures to hunt.

Pretty fun
As most of the fun board games it is hard to understand the rules, but it is a fun game, well made.

Great game, Horrible instructions
I love the game. I love all of the little, nerdy, pieces. But the instruction manual is atrocious. The game is fairly simple to play but it took about half an hour to learn because I kept saying, "Wait, what?" and flipping back to earlier on the booklet. But once that's out of the way the game is engaging and competitive. The single-player mode is very challenging and creative.
