Walker SoundFX 18957 Direct Fit Exhaust Muffler 2.625" Inlet (ID) 2.625" Outlet (ID) for Chevrolet Tahoe

I bought this for a 2000 Suburban. Someone had removed the muffler and straight piped the truck, it was loud enough where I thought i may get a ticket. When I put on this muffler, I was pleasantly surprised that it sounded like a stock vehicle. I noticed no change in performance. It works well.

Works too good . The vehicle is very quiet.

For all those who say it doesn't work or is not a direct fit read the description. It tells you it is the replacement for the dual outlet because they no longer make that muffler. You have to buy the tailpipe also and it will fit together with ease. Does not need welded just need to buy the clamps also.

Install went fine, sounds great until it rotted off almost exactly 1 year after purchase. Not worth it

Sounds great. Not quit stock but more of a mix between stock and a very mellow throaty sound. I like it a lot. The only gripe is that it doesn't come with directions. I know, should be pretty straight forward. However, there's an Inlet stamped closer to one port with an arrow pointing to the further port. Confused the crap out of me. Nobody here posted about it so I am. Had to call my local exhaust shop to confirm that the arrow is "usually" an indication of flow direction and that's how he would do it.
