Portable, easy to use/read
I bought this for my little EDC car/tool bag mostly just to have in case. I have used it a few times when I’ve either forgot my big tape measure or just one I wanna measure something real quick and don’t wanna pull out the giant 16 foot one. The action on this is very good. It retracts well and quickly, and the lock works well. the measurements seem to be very accurate. It’s also very easy to read which I appreciate. This is great just to have like a kitchen drawer or as I said in a small little portable kit and it’s great for just normal every day measurements. Now this is not something I would use on like a construction site or something because as well-made as it is, I don’t think it’s gonna stand up to repeated drops off of a ladder, but you really can’t go wrong especially with this brand as they make quality tools and instruments and it’ll probably last you longer than the crappy little one they sell at the counter at Ace Hardware when you’re checking out.

Premium tape measure
I worked in metal fabrication for over 50 years and my favorite brand of tape measure is lufkin. This little tape measure doesn't disappoint. Reinforced hook and easy to read, real quality and perfect for anything under eight feet. Very small for easy carrying in the pocket.

I've always got a tape on me.
Perfect size for climbing up two extension ladders and over a few roof obstacles then having the boss ask who's got a tape measure... When I pulled this little tape out they made fun of how small it was but then proceeded to use it since no one wanted to make the trip back down. Boss
