We have a Fluval 32.5 gal aquarium and this biomax fits perfectly in the foam blocks in the filter.

Has lasted long intervals between massive water changes.

Works as described. Not to difficult to use.

Sized ring well...not bulky like other ring sizers. Stayed on well. 6th size from largest fit

This product really goes a long way in keeping my Nano shrimp tank viable and healthy

This part I ordered to have on hand for a 6 gallon Fluval Spec model desktop tank in case of emergency or regular breakdown. The Spec tank has a very small foot print of 6.75 deep by 19.75 wide. It comes with a filter, activated carbon stocking, a bio bead stocking (albeit with no air running through them-you have to add separately), a powerful water circulating pump that even on the slowest speed is to strong, but it does have an excellent LED light bar that fully lights uo every inch of the tank. The light bar has two switchable modes both daylight white and moonlight blue. It also comes with a top cover. Everything you need but an air pump and air stone. I would only recommend this tank for someone who has minimal time for tank maintenance. That said it IS an attractive little tank kit.

Fluval Biomax is great for replacing less than suitable biofilter media that comes with most filters in general. Lots of surface area, and this media lasts such a long time. You will save money, and keep your fish healthy. It is a bit pricey up front, but over the long term washing it in aquarium water, and putting it right back in your filter will save you big time. Ditch your stock filters and stuff as in much Biomax as you can for a much better replacement.
