This is the best soap I've ever used. It has the best "texture" or lack thereof. I love that it doesn't leave a film on my skin, but it also doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. For example, Dove soap is supposed to be moisturizing, but for me, Dove dries my skin out even more and leaves a residue. Matter of fact, most bar soap does that to me. That's why I prefer clear bar soaps. The only thing about Pears, is there aren't many scents to choose from. But I'm using it for the consistency/texture. Not the smell. I may never buy body wash ever again. I love Pear's soap too much. I take showers and I wash myself with a rough, exfoliating wash cloth for reference.

My husband loves how this soap makes him feel clean and the smell is pleasant.

I bought the blue and the green Pears Soap together because I couldn't decide on a scent, and honestly... I can't smell any difference between the two. I don't know how people could say they have refreshing scents or whatever when they just smell like generic soap. And it's quite a permeating scent. Now my whole bathroom smells like Pears Soap. For the rest of my review, these are the larger bars. I bought them with some soap savers at the same time and they /almost/ didn't fit in because they are fat bars. In terms of longevity they seem to last longer than the Cheeky Soap I had purchased before this (though their scents are accurate) and I do experience some dryness afterwards which I was warned about. The soap itself seems to feel "squeaky clean" and it leaves that kind of feeling on the skin, which for me is drying. It's winter though and being reminded to moisturize after a shower isn't a bad thing.

Such an amazing bar of soap- it lathers wonderfully, it smells great, it rinses off easily, and it's not too drying- but it only lasts 4 days for me as a shower soap bar. I need a bar to last at least a week in order to be satisfied with the product. Maybe up the size from 4.4 oz to 5. I used a soap tray too to try to make it last longer, but it didn't help.

The soap is a very nice color! Gentle for washing my face. Value for the money! I will be buying it again. thanks!

I love glycerin soaps — they’re smooth and less drying to the skin — and this one is my favorite in the summertime. It’s mildly cooling, but not overly so. Using it in a cool or lukewarm shower after doing yard work or other outdoor activities on a hot day is a delightful experience. The scent is not just straight-up mint; it has a bit of a fresh note from the eucalyptus oil and other scent components, similar to a deodorant bar.
