What is the difference between the two part numbers?

82220 is 18 inches and extends to 29 inches. 82248 is 29 inches and extends to 48 inches.

Would this be a useful shtf tool for a gear bag? is it useful on solid core and hollow interior home doors via dynamic entry or is another pry better?

I find the bar extremely useful, but I use it for positioning equipment and testing bearings. For solid core steal doors I would imagine it would help a lot. If using for a carpentry application, maybe the next size down would be more useful.
