Great connectors!
I find that Deutsch connectors are easily the best wiring connectors for automotive wiring. I have been using them for many years on all of my projects because very few other automotive connectors are as compact, as sturdy, as weatherproof, as long lasting or as well made as these are. I guess you can tell that I'm a huge fan. They are available with two styles of pins, the simple crimp pins and the fancy 4 sided circular crimper pins. The 4 sided crimper type are the best although they are more expensive and, of course, you need the fancy 4 sided crimper tool. The regular pins are just fine if you are only wiring up a few connectors a year, but if you are doing a lot of automotive wiring then you should invest in the 4 sided tool. That's my two cents.

How well they match up with semi truck factory looking wiring...
I had no dislikes with this product... I was thrilled the minute I opened the package.... easy to use and most of all look factory.... no more hacking a wiring harness to remove a hood.... quality is excellent..... extremely good value..... and kit was complete with tool.... AWESOME PRODUCT....

Great kit for the money!!
This is an excellent setup for rewiring that project that maybe needs a clean up or weatherproofing. I got this kit for a rewire job on my boat. It is a very versatile kit with a good mix of the various wire counts. Only complaint is related to the finished connectors... the pins need to be fiddled to get them centered well but this is typical of these less expensive kits from "overseas." Also, there were no instructions with the kit. The item listing does show the basics, but you will go through a few pieces figuring out the process. PRO TIP: Use the rubber insert backers to "adjust" the position of the pin to the center of the opening(both sides). Push a little further in on one side of the rubber insert to nudge the connecter tip one way or the other as you insert the rubber bit. Otherwise, this is a great kit for a basic, low cost, multi-pin connector setup. 8/10 recommend with only drawback the relative cost vs quality aspect. These will work just fine for most people. If you want pristine, fool proof connectors, spend a little more money for a higher quality kit. If you are not that picky or otherwise able to throw money around, these WILL DO just dandy!

Good value kit considering dt are super expensive
So to start off with I deal with Deutch connectors all day working on crown forklifts. I perfer the other style of pins that crimp from 4 directions however the tool to do that is at minimum $100-250 from what I've seen. You can get the right crimp tool for these for under $20. I don't know how they put these kits together for the price as the single 10pin connector costs more. So they are either really good clones with all the proper markings or they got a stellar deal on them some other way. As a bonus when you use all the connectors you have a pretty decent organizer that has the rest of the dividers in there still. Definitely would buy again at the price as I really like dt connectors as a small screwdriver makes it easy to depin and still water resistant.

Hard to tell the difference
These are nearly identical in every way to the OEM Deutsch I bought from a dedicated wiring shop. They even have Deutsch printed on them. You will want a dedicated Deutsch crimper, or set of jaws for one of the Astro, IWISS, and similar tools. It will make the crimp much cleaner. You can do it in two steps, or using other jaws, but if you do a lot it's worth picking up a 14/16/18 or one of the other wire size dies. The trick to Deutsch is to assemble them correctly, and make sure the little lip on the pin engages the lock inside the gray housing, then the orange/green inserts lock the pins in place. To do this, on an existing wrapped set of wires, means you need to get your cuts and stripped ends lined up very well, or it's hard to get the pins all seated properly, especially with the larger plugs. For new wires this is not a problem, for short stubby branches off an existing loom, this can be a little challenging compared to something like molex. It could be my imagination, but my memory says the original OEM ones I got locked the pins in better before the orange/green lock was inserted. I feel like i'm fussing with these pins a little more. It is totally unnecessary to pack these full of dielectric grease. put a tiny amount on the orange seal so it slides easily and doesn't roll or tear. I've had these things on a dirt bike for years, in mud, rain, snow, desert, never had a failure. Some are under the seat, some are zip-tied to the bars for accessories, in direct weather.

Broke the first one
Nice kit, the crimping tool is nice, works pretty good. The first 3-prong connector I wired up, the plastic cover piece broke off where it hinges on the body of the connector. bummer... hope they all aren't that way. I was certainly not being rough with it either. The organizer case is nice. The plastic isn't as smooth as a real weatherpack connector inside where the seal slides, so it kind of wants to hang up a little when you make a connection. I put a tiny bit of dielectric grease on to make it go smoother, seems better. time will tell.

Plastic connector's are made solid!
This kit was exactly was I looking for my after market headlights for my 2000 Freightliner classic XL. The plastic connector's are solid and will last for many years to come. I don't know why other folks reviews said the plastic was made very cheaply made.
