Very, VERY strong adhesive strength.
Powerful adhesive pull strength. I think the spec says 30 pounds per square inch of tape but check that for yourself. Five years ago I used it to hold solar panels on the roof of our RV so that I don't have to make holes in the roof. Of course I test it at the start of every season with all the pull I dare apply without breaking the panels. Speeds up to 75 mph and the panels are still there.. .More recently I used it to support the glass panel table top beneath the surrounding steel frame of our patio table. (The original plastic clips had failed and would allow the glass to fall.) The resulting supporting bond is far stronger and safer than the original clips.

Sticks
We used it to stick two things up in our kitchen. So home use. We did this on two knife blocks. Also used to hang metal plates up so we can magnets to hang items in the kitchen. One one of the knife blocks we rushed it a bit, but all 5 items total worked. For the successes, we placed on the item first. Washed and cleaned it with an alcohol solution Used a rolling pin to apply pressure evenly throughout the strip when applied. Waited 24 hours then stuck on the wall, and applied even pressure and waited 24 hours then hung stuff. I mention our steps, as one knife block failed. had the heaviest knifes on it that I am sure did not help, but we took shortcuts. Others worked so well, why do it? Well, do it. after reapplying everything's nd waiting, the same set of knifes were placed on it and are still great and would be for the life of the setup. We applied the knife blocks on tile. The metal plates on wood.

Good product!
We bought the 3M Scotch 595 2 VHB Tape to use on a van build, we needed to hook down a plastic part on the roof of the van.The tape stuck down really good and the thickness was perfect for the application we used it for.The quality was good and we didn't have any problems with it.We would buy it again.
