I use it for autobody repair many times and works great .

Q: Does this take a hardner

No. It is a lacquer (I think) paste that dries pretty fast, like several hours and is made for pinholes and shallow depressions. It will dry to the point of unworkability on the spreader tool in just a few minutes so work fast.

Q: Is this laquer based product that never truly dries or hardens? WHat I mean is can you wipe this off with laquer thinner?

It dries just like bondo. It is easy clean before it dries
