Once I accidentally washed some pieces of this towel in the washing machine, and guess what - they came out good as new!! Good for cleaning anything, the size is good, not thick but very durable, good balance of softness and sturdiness (not for running nose, that's for sure). Color is clean white. One roll lasts forever.

The Scott High Capacity Hard Roll Paper towels are on a roll of significantly larger diameter than many commercial rolls and certainly ANY domestic use roll. If style and appearance isn't real important to you, they are excellent for the kitchen. Of course, they are designed to be put in an appropriate holder like you might find in a restroom or workshop. For the kitchen, the sheer economics of these high capacity rolls make them a good substitute for your typical decorative or home use paper towel roll. Should you do this, use a vertical paper towel holder like in my attached picture. These Hard Roll Paper Towels will never work on an overhead standard paper towel holder. Should you take my advice on the vertical paper towel holder, don't expect your kitchen to look like a show kitchen. It's not attractive and the roll length falls short of a standard vertical paper towel holder. You do still have options though. You could put up a pretty roll of paper towels on a standard overhead holder and stash one of these industrial rolls in the under sink cabinet or in your hutch closet to be used for most cleanups. These are all suggestions for the average homeowner trying to save money with these high capacity rolls. However, if you do indeed have a workshop or a commercial restroom or commercial kitchen, purchasing the roll holder would be a good investment. It's just that in the kitchen such a holder could be difficult to place. These towels will quite economically do the job you need done, but how you make them fit in to the ascetics of your place will be your biggest challenge.
