I absolutely love these jars. I've purchased several sets! I don't use them for lotions and such as other reviewers have. I have only purchased the 6oz size. Snack cups - My husband and I don't like eating with our fingers when we can help it (we're just germaphobes). These jars are perfect for holding trail mix, small crackers, pretzel bites, or other small snack foods. You can "drink" the food out of the container (shake it directly into your mouth) without having to touch the food. They stack together neatly in the pantry cabinet without falling over. We only hand wash and haven't attempted to use the dishwasher for fear of melting the plastic. Spice Cabinet - I purchase spices from the bulk shop and I despise having a bunch of mismatched spice jars. So, I organized the spice cupboard using these! Each spice has a dedicated jar and I built an organizer to store them on their sides with a labeled lid facing outward. I permanently labeled the spice name on the lid, since they are plastic and they will absorb aromas. The opening is wide enough for all of my measuring spoons. They also straighten up my baking supply: sprinkles, mini muffin cups, food coloring tubes. Hardware Storage - I used these to organize all of my extensive hardware collection: screws, nails, drywall anchors, hinges, mending plates, hooks, drill bits, etc. I used the same organizer build as my spice rack. I prefer this method over those drawer type organizers from the hardware stores, I can carry the tub around with me when DIY'ing versus having a pocket full of various screws, plus it was way cheaper than a pre-made unit. Some of those jars are packed heavily with metal hardware and haven't broken! Toiletry Storage - Hair ties, bobby pins, barrettes, toothbrush heads, and all of our medicine cabinet are now in matching jars. While they're too small to hold an entire box of cotton swabs, they hold enough for daily use. I can fit a standard sized bottle of pills in one jar, then print a new label with the name, dosage, and expiration date. Office Storage - Paperclips, push pins, ink pen refills, small binder clips, craft clamps, jewelry supplies, small crafting supplies. All neatly stacked and visible on one shelf! If you can't tell already, I like everything neatly organized, labeled, and visible. These jars are perfect for basically everything and you won't be disappointed with them. If you have a label printer, a 2" circle label fits oh-so-perfectly on the lid.

This have been perfect for my powder drinks keeping them dry and pretty free from getting moist. I can write on the tops and put labels on the sides as needed. Stores well in my baskets
