Smarty Stop Fruit Sours Chewy Candy Balls (Purple Grape, 2 Pound (Pack of 1))

This candy wasn’t real sour, but it’s very delicious.

The candy shell around the gelatin center was crumbly. It was as if the candy had been sitting in a humid environment for days or just sitting out open for weeks. The flavor for some of the candies was very good, but for the majority it was a bit flavorless.I am a diabetic. When I cheat I want to enjoy the cheating (the candy or chips). This product was so inferior, I would compare it with what the candies I have sucked up into my vacuum cleaner when I replace the bag must be like.I love cherry, grape, tangerine, LEMON, ... sours. They are the candy I have decided is the premier and what I seek when I am cheating. I enjoyed for years many candies and sometimes ate as many as 2 and 3 bags in a single day (usually ate nothing else because wired on sugar), hence my diabetes. It took much debating within myself as to which candy I would most want when I cheat. This type won.This vendor's product is enough to turn me off this type candy were it the only place to purchase. I have no idea who would enjoy such a crumbly chewy sour candy ball.

At first the texture is reminiscent of an old gum. Followed by a brief jelly bean mouth feel. Once that melts away you are swept away to a white sand beach within your minds eye. Everything tastes like sun tan lotion.The nutritional information on this candy is attritious. It will for sure lead to your demise if not certainly diabetes. But man, they're so good that you won't give a f either.

Worked for what I needed. Wasn't really sour ,but good.

The 5lb bag was not what I was expecting as you can see in the pic. The colors looked off and when I tasted the candy it was more of a tropical mixture and not even really sour. I'm sending them back. I ordered these from them before but I don't know if they got them mixed up. They were also a bit tough and seemed stale.

I have purchased these several times because I like them. However, I throw out the green ones that taste like apples because I hate them. I'm not crazy about the grape ones either. This bag had an over abundance of both of those. It was also packaged differently and they rubbed together and looked less appealing. I probably won't buy them again.

Absolutely horrible! I just spent over $17 on them thinking they were the original sour balls and they have no taste at all. Not to mention, they are much smaller than the original sour balls. I can’t return them so all I can do is trash them.

These sour ball candies were so good to have displayed on a candy table. They were not to sour and not hard at all. The texture was good and the quality of this sour ball candy was great.
