Tool was well made but did not fit the camshafts on 2.0 l turbo engine

Junk
I took it out of the box and the bolts were too large for the holes in the head. I used different bolts to hold it in place. I started torquing the bolts and one of the tabs broke off that was holding the cam phaser in place. Complete Junk!

Just like oem
This tool fit just like oem. Note: when installing timing chains and phasers on the 2.4 ecotec engine, this tool is used in order to aid installation and prevent too much torque to be put on the chain while torquing to yield at 22lb ft + 100 degrees. In other words you should still use a 24 mm wrench on the camshaft hex to hold it in place while tightening. I worked on these at the dealership level for decades and even the oem tool will get damaged if you just rely on the pegs to hold the sprocket while you tighten. Use common sense and you will be alright.

Does NOT fit 2014 equinox.
Supplied hardware did not fit valve head, had to scavenge bolts from intake manifold bag of bolts to make do. Tabs are WAY to weak to hold the phasers in place. And tabs aren't long enough to fully engage phasers to prevent chain slippage. Imo. Save your money. Or VENMO me. Your choice.

Useless
Does not fit 2014 Equinox. Supplied bolts are too big and the front of the tool doesn’t fit inside the sprpckets. The tool felt hefty and strong, but was useless for the 2.4L ecotech in the equinox. Too small.

El producto no queda en versiones anteriores a la 2010, o al menos no quedo en un Ecotec 2.4 del 2009 de un Malibu.

The product was supposed to hold the cam gears in place so that you could change change the cam gears, but did not fit, it was too small, wasted my time and money

For replacement of cam phaser, the hole don't fit to enguage and retaine the phaser.
